While many will credit Ronnie Fieg for his assistance in bringing Asics classics to the mainstream spotlight, those who have followed Asics for years already know that its in-house team of colorists have been doing astounding work for quite a while. Take for example this general-release colorway of the Asics Gel Lyte III that we’ll call ‘Infra-Cement’ thanks to the neon hot red upper and black-on-grey speckled midsole; it’s colorways like these that’ll help build a sturdy backbone of a true following, and once these drop in January, you can be certain that these will be on plenty of rotations. Hanon-shop has these for pre-order at the moment, so check out the images below and keep in tune with Sneaker News for U.S. availability.

Infared x Cement = I Need These
December 12th, 2011 at 3:23 pm
People only want these because they're Jordan reminiscent. The hype is going to build around the cement midsole especially with the white cement for release around the corner.
December 12th, 2011 at 3:54 pm
Now your reaching. These are crazy dope but RF uses way better materials than the general releases.
December 12th, 2011 at 7:12 pm
ASICS have always had some of the best/most diverse colorways. IMO.
December 12th, 2011 at 7:40 pm
Please if people really cared about quality materials they wouldnt buy jordans
December 12th, 2011 at 7:49 pm
Please if people really cared about materials no one would buy jordans
December 12th, 2011 at 8:39 pm
Stop comparing these to Jordans. Any shoe can have that print, it's not like some revolutionary idea that only Jordan came up with.
December 12th, 2011 at 11:17 pm
Just because people that buy Jordans dont care about quality doesnt mean that other sneakerheads do. Youve probably never held a RF in person so you wouldnt understand the quality he creates.
December 12th, 2011 at 11:52 pm
Anyone who genuinely thinks that RF is responsible for "bringing Asics classics to the mainstream spotlight" is a n00b and a fool at that.
Put it this way, if there was some chick prancing around in her underwear, being photographed wearing the above shoes in oversaturated, suggestive images, these would look even better than they already do.

First of all bird ass nigga, I can speak on the subject because I live in NYC the HYPEBEAST CAPITOL for sneakers. I've seen first hand how the game has changed and how hype surrounds certain shoes. Especially for Asics. The lines for the Leatherbacks and Salmon Toes were ridiculous and four day campouts. That is ABSURD. So I'm very certain the younger generation that claim to be "sneakerheads" that are going to be in line for this release will be there primarily for the cement print. Why? Because it was made famous by the Air Jordan signature line.

December 13th, 2011 at 10:06 am
where can i get these
December 13th, 2011 at 6:25 pm
Even if she wore some ugly shoes, then the shoes would still be ugly. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, personally.
But I'm always down for a chick in kicks though.
December 14th, 2011 at 12:01 am
When do these come out?
December 14th, 2011 at 4:59 am
Although I see where you are coming from, i just dont see why asics America's hq filled their offices shelves with the sneaker freaked magazine show casing the salmon toes. I'm pretty sure asics America recognized the publicity Nd marketing of the rf mock ups.
