And now that all the hype has turned from a raging boil down to a gentle simmer, the Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ returns to the big spotlight as something like the ‘people’s champ’ of 2011. These are most certainly going to dominate the Christmas sneaker sales charts despite releasing just two days prior to the holiday when your shopping options narrow to 7-11s and Chinese buffets, a fact owing to this shoe’s groundbreaking good looks and the bar-setting performance Michael Jordan issuedwhile wearing them in 1995-96. Got my pair already on hold can't wait but I've seen more than 1 concord already and idk what's been going on in the factories but the pairs I've seen got alot of visible glue right at the tip of the toe box and on the bottom along the carbon fiber as well. I also have seen a few pairs were the laces have black paint marks.
Yo quick question i got the cool greys and worn them about 3 times. them is black scuff that looks like marker on the side of ice sole. ive tired mr clean magic eraser, baking soda, an pencil eraser and rubbing alcohol. does anyone have any ideas? ive never seen anything like it on a clear sole
go to the dollar tree and get some awesome (clear bottle, yellow liquid) i promise it will work 100%

Some concords got rushed in the making, excess glue and some flaws, already saw them, I work at footlocker and the quality is not up to par to me
I definitely agree... I went to a Nike in Malaysia and went through 7 pairs my size to get 2 pairs that were perfect. I had to switch pairs to do it.... The shop owner was soooo nice to let me do that and I paid for the shoes first but can't take them home until release day. There was a lot of glue stains, scratches, blemishes, etc... Best you guys have a good look at the counter if you guys are camping....
Jay, feeling you. Work at a FL umbrella store and seen pairs at our affiliates, not as hyped as I was, but after my Weatherman's last Saturday and copping Nerf's this Saturday with the Huarache Basketball and the China's, I went from wanting 3 pairs of XI's to being happy with one. Then again having had OG XI when I was 20, nothing compares to the OG J's, except maybe some "trim." HAHAHAHAHA
There should not be anything to be compared with an OG. They were simply OG. These are RETRO versions.

To everyone asking about the blue sole in these pics. The shoes are sitting on a mirror or other reflecting surface and the concord on the sole is reflecting through the icy part. Look at the pics of them on Fab and Styles P's feet to see what they will actually look like. I believe the degree of blue will be similar to the soles on the wolf grey 5s.

First day I get them I going to try to get the blue tint off the shoe ASAP. It really throws off the shoe, I now what its for, but I rather have to clean them with sea glow then have a blue bottom. But that just me lol

OGs didn't come with a blue tint, and sorry but 300+ for a shoe that is going to fall apart after 10 wears is stupid. Hope off my nuts I spend the money on my shoes so I can do with them what I please. It was just a exaggeration, I really don't like the blue on a black/white shoe.
