It’s pretty typical for the Holiday season to be jam packed with big name releases, but it’s another thing entirely to have them fall on Christmas Day. The Nike Basketball Christmas Pack is doing just that though, coming with three brand new colorways from the forefront of the Swoosh’s representatives in the NBA: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant. Of the three, LeBron’s definitely approaches the theme in the most straightforward way, rocking the red/green/white look that you have not doubt noticed plastered up everywhere for the past month or so. Can you sneak away from Christmas dinner with the fam long enough to lock down your pair? Only time will tell, but until then, follow us after the jump to get a better look at this upcoming release. via SneakerGo

Call me crazy, but all these Xmas make-ups releasing on Boxing day, the day AFTER xmas… isnt that a waste? Wouldn't you want to wear em ON xmas day? You gotta wait a year to wear em? lol. Release date fail.

People are so caught up with the Concords but hear me out. The nba experienced at lock out this year. Lebron ranks amonst the top players in the current NBA if not the top player. In a league with teams stacked with talent and other teams lets just say lacking talent we will always remember this year as the year with the lockout and and starting the season on Christmas Day. These are significant shoes in the career or Lebron and the Lebron shoe series. We all remember certain shoes Jordan wore during his career because of the milestones aka the Last Shots. These Lebrons will definately go down in his shoe/basketball career history/legacy.

agreed.

Agreed. But the NBA lockout ending on Christmas Day has nothing to do with LeBron James and his legacy. He played no part in the mediation talks, so why would a mediocre Christmas colorway of the LeBron 9 go down as one of the best LeBron in history? There isn't a single LeBron shoe that is tied in with a major milestone because he hasn't achieved any. The Miami Nights V2 Low was supposed to be a Championship shoe, but ended up being exiled to Asia and later popped up in limited numbers in Miami. The Air Max LeBron VII 'MVP' wasn't released because his move to Miami made the shoe look awkward. All these unreleased PEs – shoes that never released – are the most sought-after LeBrons, and they have nothing to do with any professional achievements, and to say that people are too caught up on Concords and as a result are underrating the Christmas LeBron 9 doesn't make sense.
In fact, the best LeBron shoe that released is probably the South Beach 8, which, ironically, represents LeBron's most controversial and villianizing milestones in his career.
