Nike LeBron 9 ‘Nerf’ Customs by Mache

We live in an era when colorway-swapping customs are as popular as remixed hit singles, and the latest little ditty is one of the more impressive we’ve seen applied to the Nike LeBron 9. Patterned after the‘Nerf’ Zoom KD IV that hit limited retail locations last week, this Mache Custom Kicks effort does a great job of appropriating the splatter print on the KD IV’s strap, applying it to the whole ankle area. The rest of the shoe is spot-on when it comes to blocking, except that the Max Air cushion might have been neon green in a perfect world. We’ve yet to see a ‘Dunkman’ LeBron 9 that might easily accommodate that kind of thing, but already we know to expect to see that signature palette replicated on another hot release coming up soon; perhaps a Zoom KD IV? when u want something done right u gotta do it yourself. example of that clearly shown here. lebron 9's only look good in certain color ways .... maybe nike should take the hint of making good shoes/colorways NOT overpriced OR ultra limited.

These look way better than the KD's ......but ya know if nike had done something like this it couldve went for 220.00 or more

Normally, these are ugly...but I can't even lie these go hard.

One of the first customs I've seen where you can't even tell what CW the original shoe was. Awesome work!

Crazy good pair of customs. 100% spot-on.
Better than those ugly KD nerfs... Funny how some people spent $600 on the resell of those KD nerfs and then those same people will call the Yeezy 2's ugly and over hyped... Lets be honest here people... If those KD nerfs were a general release shoe with over 40,000 pairs made for distribution... They'd be just like frozen food... Chillen on the shelf...

A Mache name drop? Haven't heard that in years. Didn't even know he was still doing custom kicks. One of the best to do it period. Not a fan of the Nerf concept, but this 9 is sick.
