The Air Jordan hybrid shoe will always be a polarizing entity for as long as the Air Jordan sneaker remains relevant. With so many purists of the sneaker game (and purists of those purists), introducing a redesigned model bearing the same name as the original is always a tough task. That same applies with automobiles and clothing – even the McDonald’s McRib Quickstrikes always seem to draw some sort of juxtaposition with the OG. October’s release of the Air Jordan 8.0 was a bit underwhelming to say the least, with all six Air Jordan 8.0 releases thus far sitting patiently on store shelves, but perhaps the ‘Aqua’ should draw some deserved attention to the shoe. For the low low I will take a pair of these. We all know they ain't close to the 8's but if you have 8's and you want to ball in something that is the same but modern how can you actually not like these but say you like the 8's?

Im F#*^ING hate these 8.0s! Aqua 8s are my favortite Js ever, they were the first ones I ever bought by myself in 3rd grade. These trashy 8.0s should be released in other colorways than the ones the retros are released in. NO AQUA 8.0s NO PLAYOFF 8.0s. Next its gonna be SpaceJam 11.0s THIS GARBAGE NEEDS TO STOP. get some new ideas JB. Sorry for the semi rant.
