Lots of news about Jordan Brand packaging this week, as Monday brought news of an updated box and label for next year followed by a look at a super-limited promo box for the Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ crafted in wood and individually numbered. Today, it’s something a bit more directly related to the shoes themselves, or at least in terms of proximity. The Air Jordan X Retro ‘Chicago’ is shown off in advance of its January 21st release, now featuring not one but two new hangtags. One is a nice translucent ‘X’ in matte red with ‘Air Jordan Collection’ in its crux, the other a black Jumpman on one side and the Ten’s signature checkerboard lining pattern on the reverse. The blend together beautifully and raise the level of luxury on the first Air Jordan Retro for 2012 to unexpected heights. Other neumerals could obviously prove more difficult to render in this rather fetching design, but would you be psyched for future Jays to feature individualized renditions of what could be among the best wide-release hangtags ever released? Click through to see both sides of the black tag, let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the ‘Chicago’ Air Jordan 10. via Kicks-lab
The hashtag is awesome, but why no retro cards? Are always thought those brought out the nostalgia factor with retros. Maybe I'm wrong.
These already released in store this week. Cape Town, South Africa!!!! Seems we getting alot of the big releases before the states. happened with the 13's and with the Concord 11's, and the "Last Shot"s too.
startin da new yr out right i see... exactly 1 month frum now, da Jordan 10 revolution will begin lol
lol-OG's probably don't like this very much. Or they do, it all depends- I myself think it's dope. They should of made a hang tag with the White Jordan cement 3's that came out- duh.
I'm sorry for being such a troll on here, my parents found out what I've been writing and are making me apologize to everyone. Sorry SN FAM! My sincerest apologies!
Some people wear sneakers not just look at them in a box. What does the hangtag do other than lay in the bottom of the box?
Again........I laugh at everyone who purchased an early release & wasted their money lmao. They're gonna miss out on the nice new packaging & the hangtag...wonder if a hangtag will come with the IV's. That would be perfect along with the cement box
This comments are more disappointing than the article. We talkin' bout hangtags? Not the shoes. not the shoes. We talkin' bout hangtags.
as sad as it is those tags make me want them a LITTLE BIT more..BUT I will have to pass...just like I had to pass on the last shots...my money ain't tight, but it ain't right either...lol
I like em, but I want to see whoever keeps the folded on on it... Does anyone even keep the tags when they wear em?
guys its not him the real rick has "rosay" with a lowercase r, this fool has "Rosay" with an uppercase r. nice try.
They actually are changing the box for next year. From what It wont be anything special like the IVs but they are gonna release a new box design for ALL JB sneakers released next year. Here is a look at what they are doing http://www.kicksonfire.com/2011/12/19/new-jordan-...
thats becuz the article is specifically about the hangtags so i think it would be relevant to hav comments about the hangtags
And then they wanna bitch and cry because they looked down at there shoes and saw that the hangtag wasn't there anymore....... I've actually found 2 hangtags on the ground for the 3s on campus.
the hang tags are dope.. i dont rock em but i put em on things like my backpack.. just to put em to use instead of having them sit in a box
