Next week, Sneaker News will unveil our annual list of the Top 30 sneakers of the year, but before we do, we wanted to give our loyal readers a chance to have their voices heard on the best releases of 2011. Like we did last year, we have compiled some of the year’s juiciest releases into a number of competitive categories, and put them to a vote in our second annual Sneaker News Readers’ Choice Poll. As you can see, 2011 offered quite a strong crop of releases, so there will be many difficult decisions made before our eventual winners are crowned. The polls will open tonight with live voting running up until midnight of Tuesday, December 27th. The 2011 Sneaker News Readers’ Choice results will be announced on Wednesday night, so be sure to voice your opinion and vote for your favorites of the year before it’s too late.

just honestly the Air Jordan 7 Bordeauxs are some of the best looking releases of the year and at least deserve to be in top 10 in my opinion. Concord 11s are gonna be top 5 on every list because their the ORIGINAL 11s. not just because their the HYPE of the year. the Banned 1's deserve to be in there because of how fuckin raw they are. and of course the cement 3s have to be in there too. you all can fill in all the Foams and Lebrons you want after that.

Best releases of the year in no specific order... Bin 5s, china 9s, entourage 8s, liberty sb dunks, concord 11s, hyperfuse am90 4d, yotr 7s and 2k11, bourdeaux 7s and finally blk & white cements. And yes, I own them all.

Where are the XIII Playoffs?!?!?!?! That's my pick for best shoe of 2011. It was affordable, better quality then the other retros (eg. Black/cement 3), and a classic shoe and color way!!!! Come on SN.....

The Chinas imo were easily one of the best releases this year. The quality is crazy and well put together so worth the $170
My top 3 picks...the ones Im sharing thought on Had to go with Banned 1's in the first category. Classic....the brought the Nike Air back on the tongue & the quality for a B-Grade was amazing ! Great release. Bordeauxs....my favorite sneaker & my grail. Just my personal preference. After 20 years of waiting. for 2012...Olympic 6s...my 2nd grail. Jut a beautiful colorway man. Next to that would be white cements & IV's.

It's PE release, so I guess it is a release. I mean I'd consider it a release, well, only because, it's a release.
Chcago's already released over here in Cape Town, South Africa. Definately a new trend i see. we got the concords, last shots, cement greys, and even the haystack pack before the USA release dates. All im waiting for now it the TOTAL AIR PILLARS, all the colorways, except the green pair. Proudly South African. HOSH!!!!

Probably because he's not a hypebeast like you buddy. The only shoes I mess with on your list are the Concords and the Ray Allen's and if yo ask me, the Allen's received WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY to much hype for what they really where. They are the "Bleed" XIII's with green instead of red. The "Bleeds" set on shelves forever. Why are the Allen's any better? Because they were limited?
