Air Jordan XI Low White Black Varsity Red

Okay, so the midnight releases of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ have been completed. Nikestore sold out its entire Adult and GS stock in an hour, other online retailers were crippled by the mass clickings of sneakerheads nationwide, and the rest are either waiting patiently for their local mom-and-pop shop to open up later this morning. But Sneaker News is already beyond the Concords, because there are more Air Jordan XI topics to cover! Back in October, Sneaker News confirmed the release of an all-new Air Jordan XI Low for May 2012 – a fresh combo of White, Black, and Varsity Red. These May releases seem to have surfaced at the right time, because yesterday, Sneaker News showed you two samples of the Air Jordan XI Low in a ‘Concord‘ and ‘Bred‘ colorway. So with our minds clearly focused on the XI, what are your thoughts on the new White/Black-Varsity Red low? We’d like to hear your thoughts in the comments section. via airrandyhk.

Nike Zoom Rookie LWP Dynamic Blue Wolf Grey | New Photos

We won’t go so far as to say that his range of Nike Sportswear sneaker offerings is more popular than during that epic early/mid-’90s run when he played Robin to Shaq’s Batman, but there’s no understating the popularity of Penny Hardawy’s signature series. The Nike Zoom Rookie LWP is the second hybrid NSW created from the Air Penny series and its offshoots, this new Dynamic Blue and Wolf Grey colorup a nice middle ground between the legendary ‘Orlando’ colorways and the variety of grey tones that have been oh so popular these past couple years. The white/black colorway just released as what will likely remain the last Zoom Rookie of 2011, so are you ready to move into next year with this bold new pair? Click through for some additional angles and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.  via AGS

Nike LeBron 9 Kentucky Home PE

While the NBA was mired in a lock-out, Nike Basketball shrewdly created three on-court and available-for-retail colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 modeled after three big-name collegiate basketball squads – the University of Kentucky, the University of Miami, and the Ohio State University. Dubbed the ‘University Pack’, all three colorways (sans team logos) hit stores, starting with the ‘Kentucky’, which dropped first in mid-October. Here we have a look at the ‘Home’ version of that PE (notice the UK logo on the tongue); it features a White primary base with Varsity Royal on the Hyperfuse/Flywire shell, Midsole, Weave paneling, and inner lining. Better than the ‘Away’? Check out the gallery of images below and let us know which College PE colorway of the LeBron 9 you like best. via LRJ23.

Complex Top 10 Sneakers Of 2011 Lists

Yo dawg, we heard you like sneaker lists, so we put sneaker lists inside a sneaker list to create a sneaker list of sneaker lists. Complex Magazine adores lists like rotund children embrace pastries, so throughout the second-half of December, they hit up some of their in-house squad members as well as some notable sneakerheads in the game to run down six distinct lists of Top 10 Sneakers Of 2011. DJ Clark Kent, Ronnie Fieg, Frank The Butcher, Matt Halfhill, Joe La Puma, and Russ Bengston all dropped their respective two cents for this feature, so check out all the lists below and let us know which of the six you relate with the most!

Nike LeBron 9 Griffey/Dunkman

Earlier today Sneaker News showed you two brand new colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 – a Dark Grey/Neon Green colorway dubbed the ‘Dunkman’ and the metallic blue/red designated the ‘All-Star’. However, it’s been confirmed by Jason Petrie himself that the ‘All-Star’ isn’t what it seems, and a look at the heel-badge only confirms that notion. It features the same ‘Dunkman’ logo, but with a curious halo, making an obvious reference to the Nike Air Griffey line. LeBron’s been spotted wearing Griffeys from time to time, so perhaps this new release is his way of adding Ken Griffey Jr. to the exclusive list of ‘Heroes’ that was revealed in the Air Max LeBron VII. Another rumor that’s been floating around is that both Dunkman colorways are intended to be released as a Pack, but more information regarding the release will be reported once it develops. We’ve got additional angles for you below, so take a look and let us know what you think of this Dunkman/Griffey concept. via randomactsofcool.
