adidas Skateboarding Spring 2012 Footwear Available

adidas Skateboarding just offered up a couple glimpses into their plans for early 2012, but much like the brand that’s their biggest hurdle in the skate sneaker space, Three Stripes’ spring ’12 kicks are coming out in time to capitalize on the holiday shopping rush.  The star of this set is clearly the adidas Busenitz, replicated across three colorways true to the design’s Samba influence, especially the black/white/gum edition.  There are also two new Eldridge lowtops, one in Dark Cinder and another cosigned by Pete Eldrige in Cardinal Red suede, about the same shade you’ll find on the stripes of Lucas Puig’s latest Skate release.  Check out all six pairs in more detail after the jump and look for these now at select retailers like Premier.

Nike SB Dunk High Pro Clay Black

With the sun rarely showing its face these days, the Nike SB design team has taken notice and tucked away the brighter colorways. We’ve seen them working with a distinctly darker palette, exemplified by our two part rundown of their January 2012 releases. A standout from the pack is this , a quickstrike release that hits with the popular tumbled suede look on the upper. We’ve seen these sort of bare-bones colorways become fan favorites in the past (the ‘Venom’ comes to mind) so don’t expect this pair to sit around. Hit the jump for a full look and get in touch with the guys at Concepts to pick up your pair.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Sole x Soul

We’ve seen a few different applications of iridescent patent leather on Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes, but this newest revelation pushes the envelope a bit further by adding accents in the range of colors eminating from its glossy surfaces.  This ‘Soul x Soul’ AF1 Bespoke gives off the kind of metallic sublimated shades that you might expect to see on the surface of a pool of antifreeze, though they’re more akin in quality to the lining of a pearl-laden oyster.  The more you look deeply inside, the more depth you’ll find, and purple and neon accent hits help to emphasize the blacklit look, while reflective 3M side panels go in the opposite direction if the lighting conditions are just right.  Click through and you’ll be able to see a bunch of up-close images, including a look at how crocodile leather made its way into the mix and what mismatched insoles look like when they have no direct connection to the rest of the shoe’s design.  Let us know if they’re among the best Bespokes we’ve seen so far on Sneaker News and contact 21 Mercer in New York to design your own.  via Carter-15

Nike SB FC x FP

In the same way that Nike SB stripped the Dunks of their original context and made them a skate shoe, they also took the Zoom FC from its soccer intended origins to turn it into a sneaker for the skate crowd. Things have been pretty quiet for the FC over the past couple of years, but it is looking to make a comeback in 2012 with the upgraded Future Primitive sole technology. We first gave you a heads up on these in our Nike SB 2012 Footwear Preview, but this time around we’ve got a much better look at the shoe. This colorway features a suede in a shade that appears to be borrowed from the Koston line, with the deep dark blue looking pretty clean together with the white sections of the sneaker. Hit the jump for some additional looks and stick with us for info on the Nike SB FC x FP as we move into 2012. via N-SB

Air Jordan X Retro Old Royal New Photos

Are three pairs enough for you sneaker-hungry fiends? You can expect the OG Chicago, the recently trending ‘Stealth’, and the all-new Old Royal during the Spring 2012 season, all of which would be great addition to a budding Air Jordan X stash. Not counting the ‘Shadow’ release from 2008, we haven’t seen a mass wave of Air Jordan X retros since 2005, when a number of new colorways were introduced. The ‘Old Royal’ has received warm reception thus far, with the new mesh material and patent leather mudguard providing a fresh take on the sixteen-year-old model. Will you cop the Old Royals? After taking a look at this intensely detailed set of images, it sure will be tough to say no. Take a look below and let us know if these are a must-have for you. via kickz-lab.

Complexs Complete Sneaker Guide To Spike Lees Do The Right Thing

seems to leave a profound mark in whatever realm he steps foot on. Already considered to be one of the iconic film directors of our generation and noted sneakerheads of the sub-culture, ’s interests have crossed over from time to time – most notably in the 1989 film ‘Do The Right Thing’. Nikes and Air Jordans are easily spotted throughout the entire movie, which is a rather accurate depiction of the popularity of sneakers in the inner city; kicks like the , , and Nike Air Force II are just some of what can be seen during many of the memorable scenes. Even more recently, Jordan Brand has released a few select Air Jordan Retros in inspired colorways, like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan III. Air Jordan 1 Phat Obsidian Cool Grey White | Available

Elephant print Swooshes made a splash upon the release of this summer’s Air Jordan Retro V.1 pack, but they’re not the only AJ1 variant that’s going to utilize the Three’s signature texture. Just like the white/grey/black lows we showed you last week, this new Air Jordan 1 Phat features a tonal Elephant pattern on its side panels, a look that maximizes the textural contrast on this all-Obsidian mix of leather and mesh. Grey on the laces, lining and outsole give these a ‘New York Yankees’ vibe, but they’ll be reporting far before pitchers and catchers, and have already popped up among other early spring 2012 drops at Michigan’s Premier.

Reebok Ventilator HLS

Second in line the get the HLS treatment after the Reebok Insta Pump Fury is the , a sneaker we last saw as part of the Basquiat x Reebok collection. This revamped runner lives up to its name like never before, with the ventilated sections spreading to a greater portion of the sneaker, which is just one of the many upgrades that includes a new sole kit on bottom and a minimalist lacing system. The three out of the gate colorways get some interesting textural treatment, with an elephant print look hitting on the back of 2/3rds of the pack. Nike Air Force 1 Low Cashmere Obsidian

Cashmere is a material so luxurious, it might take a red dot to get a sweater into your price range, and while it wouldn’t be crazy to see such a premium material on an Air Force 1 Bespoke, Nike Sportswear recognizes that a shoe that could shrink up in the rain might not be the best investment, especially during the winter.  So NSW has set out to establish a ‘Cashmere Pack’ that brings together at least two different canvas Nike Air Force 1 Lows, both featuring the same soft off-white uppers and outsoles.  These differ from the pair we showed you last week, opting for the bold contrast of Obsidian accents instead of a tonal look; toward which one are you more likely to gravitate?  Click through to see more angles and let us know what you think about all of NSW’s canvas kicks for early 2012.  via Sneaker Freaker

Nike Zoom Rookie LWP Blackout New Images

Any basketball sneaker worth its salt is bound to end up in a blackout colorway, and in the case of one of Nike Sportswear’s finest hybrid designs to date, it just happens to be a bit more expressive than on most. That’s because the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP‘s black and Anthracite colorup has so much shine on its Foamposite sections, that they give off the sense of being cast in a mineral straight from the earth. So in the right light, these are one of the ‘brightest’ blackout sneakers in recent memory, but in other conditions they’re as dark as a coal mine. This new set of images, then, is something like a canary to notify you that something big is coming up soon; heed the call and click through to see more, and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date. via Air-Randy
