Well it turns out there are a few more models showing up for January 2012 so stick with us for a second here to check out the rest. First up, a couple P-Rod releases: Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 in black/white/metallic silver and a Nike Sb P-Rod V with a tar colored suede upper and a dusky tone of midnight falling on the swoosh. After that it’s the Nike SB Blazer Low with a not-quite-blackout look, thanks to the midnight fog that lightens the mood a little bit. Follow us after the jump for a full look at all three of these and let us know what you’re looking forward to the most from the January 2012 Nike SB releases. As always, they can be found at fine retail locations like Premier.

Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals by Originals collection is among the most outlandish and unique sneaker collaborations in history, its impact reverberating through the Three Stripes in-house design team in a number of other releases. One of the more obvious is the use of embellished tongues that J.Scott turned toward so often in his early releases, the new adidas Originals Attitude Logo W borrowing the oversized Trefoil from 2008′s Metro Attitude Hi. That model has proven to be one of Scott’s favorites, and its inspiration comes through here in the form of three ladies colorways that add snake scale detailing to their overlay for an even more eye-catching presentation. Click through for closer looks at black/grey, grey/black and purple/white pairs after the jump and find yours at select adidas Originals accounts like Packer Shoes.

When Michael Jordan hit that go-ahead jumper in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, the Utah Jazz championship hopes went up in smoke. Freehand Profit has made quite a name (and a face) for himself in the sneaker community thanks to his unique sneaker art sculptures – gas masks, to be more specific. Using classic Air Jordans and Nikes to create these visceral masks with unsettling demeanors, Freehand Profit reconstitutes leather and rubber to create these masks, this time using the Air Jordan XIV ‘Last Shot’. He also answers the most common question he likely receives – “What’s the point?” – by stating that his work is a chance for him to reflect the world around him. He also states that he never plans ahead with the sneaker, but that the shoe itself dictates the mask (more cool info from Freehand Profit here). Check out the gallery of images below and if you want to own this piece, check out the auction from freehandprofit57 on eBay.

While the Carmelo Anthony trade provided a nice jolt of energy to NYC basketball, you have to give all credit to Amar’e Stoudemire for resurrecting it from the dead. Undoubtedly a legitimate MVP candidate for last season, Stoudemire has embraced the NYC sports and fashion culture rather seamlessly and has emerged as one of the faces for Nike Sportswear’s ‘Always On’ segments, and this Monday night, STAT and the Always On artists (Vado, Stalley, Jesse Boykins III) will be on hand for Stoudemire’s Always On video at 21 Mercer. To mark this great event, Nike Sportswear will give away six pairs of a Air Force 1 Bespoke ‘Always On’ inspired by Amar’e Stoudemire (full giveaway info here); the Bespokes feature a blue camouflage print upper with ‘STAT’ stitched on the lateral heel with the ‘Always On’ logo placed on the heel-tab. Don’t miss out on the event and the giveaway this Monday!

Diamond Supply Co.’s design of the Nike SB Dunk Low from the 2005 Team Managers series stands as one of the definitive Nike SB releases in history. It captured the glitz and glamour rarely, if ever seen in the rugged and rebellious sport of skateboarding, and released around a certain period of time in the Nike SB history that some may call the very peak. The ‘Tiffany’ theme has become rather popular with custom sneakers over the years, but very few have been astoundingly crafted like these Air Jordan Vs, done by Proof Culture. Using the 2011 Retro of the Black/Metallic Silver AJV, PC dyed the black upper with the decadent aqua blue painting the tongue and toe bumper along with it. The ‘sharks teeth’ also feature while speckling for that added touch. Along with the custom sneakers is a custom shoe-box, prominently featuring a Jumpman/V/Diamond logo on the outer face. We’ve got a nice, detailed gallery awaiting you below, so take a look and let us know what you think. via MN.

The Nike Penny line has claimed ownership of Foamposite material, prominently featuring it in the Air 1/2 Cent and on 2011′s Zoom Rookie. The foamy material looks exceptionally well with lustrous tones, like the metallic Anthracite we see here. Sneaker News actually showed you this colorway not long ago, but here we have a detailed set of angles that’ll surely make the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP a repeat hit in 2012. It’s hard to follow up such great releases like the Glow In The Dark or even the simply-made Binary Blue, but Anthracite/Black is slick enough to make these a must-have when they do release. Check out the new Zoom Rookies below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates. via marqueesole.

The biggest news of the NBA offseason leading up to the 2011-12 NBA Season was the big trade that sent Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers. Clearly, Jordan Brand had all of its corners covered as Chris Paul wore a sick new Red/White colorway of the Jordan CP3.V during the Clippers’ Media Day; perhaps originally intended as a 2012 NBA All-Star Game colorway, the vibrant red is a perfect match for CP3′s newest team colors. We also showed you CP3 walking into the Clippers’ facility wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ yesterday, but we have some extra shots of that below as well. Check out CP3′s newest colorway of his fifth signature shoe below and let us know: Who is the better NBA team in Los Angeles – the Lakers or the Clippers? via Yahoo!.

When you mention the phrase “Patta Air Max 1″, chances are, sneakerheads will see images of the Parra-designed number one release from the Sneaker News Top 30 of 2010. But don’t forget that the Dutch boutique started its onslaught of Nike Air Max 1 collaborations before the turn of the year back in ’09 by coming up with five different colorways in honor of its half-decade anniversary. This December marks lucky number seven, and again Patta has something ready just in time for Christmas, only this time the store is arguably more famous than the shoe instead of the other way around. The Patta x Asics Gel Saga brings a big spotlight to this classic runner just after the OG colorups hit this summer, and just before a new run is set to expand the Onitsuka Tiger’s retro running offerings into the next year. Their 2007 Gel Lyte IIIs can be seen in retrospect as critical to reviving that now well-established cult favorite, but ’09′s Gel Lytespeed bringback hasn’t had the same impact on that model’s frequency and availability; how important will this Patta collaboration prove to the Gel Saga? Click through for a video preview of the next chapter and get ready for the December 22nd release.

When we got our first look at the ‘Cool Grey’ Nike LeBron 9 earlier this week, the images were lit in a way that had this steely shade looking downright dark. In fact, depending on how well your display is calibrated, they might even have appeared black, given the materials’ gloss relative to the flat black backdrop. So today, these new images will help to bring the ‘Cool Grey’ LeBron 9 into clearer focus, and we can see that they are indeed done up in the particular shade of grey that’s been so scorching hot over the past eighteen months or so. The pair featured is a GS-sized release, and this just goes to show how far Nike has come with creating kids kicks, as the design remains untouched as compared to its mens counterpart. Click though to peruse this new run of photos and let us know how these rank against the other standout LeBron 9 colorways, and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date. via Taobao

Nike Basketball broke the red and green mold with last year’s Christmas Day Collection that featured the LeBron 8 V.2, Zoom KD III and Zoom Kobe VI in a ‘Signal Your Color’ theme. Each shoe had its own inspiration, yet they came together to form something like a stoplight, but this time around the big three sigs each go their own way at the fork in the road. The Nike LeBron 9 stays with the seasonal theme with its red upper adding white accents and green laces, and even the Zoom KD IV can be seen as somewhat traditional with its ornamental Metallic Bronze upper adding red laces. And while there are also red laces and (neon) green accents on the Zoom Kobe VII Supreme, that shoe’s ‘Cheetah’ colorway takes it even further than last year’s ‘Grinch’, and is easily the most inventive and indirectly Christmas-y of the bunch. Which of these three do you like best? Let us know when you click through for more images, and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these December 25th releases (that’s right, more presents on Christmas!). via 23penny1

While Chris Paul’s career trajectory has been uncertain given all the trading controversy as of late, one thing that remains constant is his status as a Jordan Brand athlete. Given that, you can expect him to be laced up in his latest signature sneaker the, the Jordan CP3.V, when the NBA finally gets going. A shoe we first previewed in our Jordan Brand Flight Forum report, the CP3.V continues the trend towards lower cut silhouettes, with the Hyperfuse upper and geometrical design cues adding to the sleek look. The latest colorway we’ve got a peek at is this white and black pair, which almost comes off ‘Concord’ looking save for the absence of icy soles and the little hits of that namesake color. Follow us after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for info on their US release. via washinsp

The most recent Nike Air Classic BW we showed you here on Sneaker News was an intriguing departure from the model’s characteristic colorways, a tonal mahogany mix of leather and suede whose white accents and gum sole made for one of the most interesting Big Windows in years. Here’s another new pair that also uses a tonal suede and leather combo, but a different distribution along with microperfs on the leather and a lack of any bright accents leaves these feeling entirely different. What the black, white and Pure Platinum trio lacks for a warm, fireside appeal it makes up with the kind of versatility that puts these on your feet every day of the week. Click through to see more angles and look for your pair at a Nike Sportwear stockist like Titolo.
