Nike Dunk High Black Medium Grey

Sneaker News just showed you three ‘Be True’-style Dunk High releases fresh from Nike Sportswear, two of which echo a vibe first felt earlier in the month and bringing the total of ‘Oakland Raiders’-esque releases this month to three.  Nike was smart enough to sign Tim Tebow as if they had some idea he might pull a miracle out of his hat — perhaps they also prognosticated a Raiders run at the AFC West crown?  Now we have four different Raiders-leaning Nike Dunk Highs for December, this latest edition also utilizing the BTTYS colorblocking pattern, but one that uses black in all the places the OGs were white.  Click through to see how the tumbled grey leather overlay adds a whole extra layer of contrast, and grab a pair right now from Size?.

Nike Sportswear Always On Amare Stoudemire

The reason that so many huge names shrivel under the Big Apple spotlight is because New York demands success, and the local media tends to offer ‘tough love’ more than perhaps any other city.  In other words, it’s ‘Always On’, and New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire has blossomed on the big stage.  STAT’s responsible for bringing the Knicks back to postseason prominence, and you can rest assured knowing he’s living the good life with all the other Gotham residents once again proud of their home team.  Nike Sportswear got up with Amare for a day in his NYC life, a trek that includes tattoos, fine art and some tasty looking foods, plus several other scenes all set to a new track by French Montana.  Click through to see the latest ‘Always On’ promo and let us know if you think the Knicks are a serious contender for the Eastern Conference crown in 2012.

Nike Air Max 97 VT Midnight Fog

Nike Sportswear had wrapped up its VacTech collection and was moving forward to 2012 and a variety of other initiatives, or so we thought. The majority of NSW VT sneakers have already hit store shelves, but we did only get one of these despite having previewed at least three other pairs a good while ago. The Nike Air Max 97 was never one to fit in with the crowd, arguably the most unique of all the classic Air Max runners in regular rotation, and the Air Max 97 VT does this tradition proud with a Midnight Fog suede release whose white sole allows for the kind of contrast that packs every bit as much punch as the legendary ‘Silver Bullet’ OGs. We’re happy to see these didn’t actually slip through the cracks after all, and their appearance suggests that at least two other similarly constructed pairs are on the way, so click through for more of the ‘Midnight Fog’ Air Max 97 VT and look for these at select retailers likeTitolo.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Mid Premium Inuit

We’ve seen a huge variety of sneakers influenced by classic casual and winter styles in recent years including duckboots, wingtips and chukka boots, just to name a few.  Two of the very most popular of these appropriations have been boat shoe sendups and hiking/work boot-inspired looks, and each typically transforms its recipient design so significantly that there’s been no overlap.  But with the newNike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid Premium ’Inuit’, we’re starting with a shoe built on the foundation of the classic Sperry Docksider, so it’s not all that much work to make them look way warmer thanks to metal D-ring eyelets and a fuzzy navy blue sockliner to match the leather upper.  These will arrive at select Nike SB retailers as one of January 2012′s Quickstrike releases, though if the past week or so has taught us anything, it’s that next year’s kicks are releasing earlier than expected to cash in on the Christmas rush.  This is one pair that’s well worth your hard earned cash as well as your attention, so click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date.  via Dunkbar

Nike Flight Maestro Plus White Black Varsity Red

For a sneaker based on the Air Maestro Flight, a silhouette made famous by Scottie Pippen, the Nike Flight Maestro Plus has been surprisingly shallow in the realm of Bulls-inspired colorways. The upcoming pair shown here has something to say about that, with a color combo that has long since been immortalized on the sneakers of another Chicago Bull. White dominates the upper, with streaks of red and black showing up on the various accents of the shoe. Hey, it even fits in with Pippen’s short stint with the Portland Trailblazers towards the latter half of his career. Follow us after the jump to a better look at this colorway, which should be popping up at retailers next year. via Sneaker Freaker

Supra Skytop Stomper

2011 was a big year for Supra, launching its Skytop III flagship, opening their New York retail spot and issuing more color-themed packs than anyone this side of Dustin Hoffman could remember. And with just a couple short weeks left before New Year’s, the Crown brand is looking to celebrate the holidays and the calendar they culminate with the biggest Skytop release yet. The Supra Skytop ‘Stomper’ is indeed the biggest one we’ve ever seen, and we mean that literally because the all-white sidewalls on these black suede Skytops are extended beyond their normal range to create a high contrast look that appears excellent at crushing obsticles in your path. A mere 413 pairs have been created and they’ll be available on December 24th at Supra‘s e-store and a select list of retailers you’ll see along with additional images after the jump.

Foot Locker x adidas The Difference

“You got everybody in here ‘Oh my gosh’-in’!”

Big Sean appropriated Rick James via MC Hammer for an entirely different purpose, but that doesn’t mean some of his lyrics aren’t indeed spot-on in describing adidas Basketball’s troupe of all-star dunkers. Three Stripes ballers Dwight Howard, Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday were on hand for the shooting of the adidas x Foot Locker ‘The Difference’ commercial a short while back, and the cameras kept rolling after the action was wrapped because these guys decided to put on another show. With the help of an unnamed young 1 with a handle like ‘The Professor’, all kinds of oops, reverse jams and 360-did-you-see-thats are being served up fresh, and you can see the entire highlight reel after the jump below.
