Much like Nike Sportswear’s Hyperfuse collection this past summer, its VacTech ensemble has grown organically and sometimes without warning, and we’re still seeing new pairs pop up out of nowhere weeks after what appeared to be the bulk of them had already released. But check out this new Nike Air Force 1 Low, a shoe that doesn’t actually bear the VT designation in its formal name, but one that most certainly offers vacuum construction on its Anthracite leather side and rear panels as well as their shared Swoosh. These look crisp with a Cool Grey suede toe plus Max Orange accents, and the triple-image tongue tags remind us of the ‘Tri-Color Pack’ of Air Max 90s released back in August; could this motif be replicated with other additional accent shades like red or neon? Check back with Sneaker News for all the latest NSW release info, like word that this pair has hit select retailers like Switzerland’s Titolo.

When we think of Carmelo Anthony’s heritage, images of Baltimore, Brooklyn and Puerto Rico come to mind, but don’t forget that the four-time All-NBA forward had arguably the most productive one-and-done college tenure of all time while briefly attending Syracuse University. Melo has supported the Orange ever since via his Jordan Brand signature line plus a variety of other SU PEs, and while this pair of Jordan Melo M8s isn’t an official player exclusive for ‘Cuse, they certainly look like they’d be right at home at the Carrier Dome. Between the Knicks editions and releases like these, we’re seeing quite a bit of orange on the Melo M8; which one is your personal favorite? Let us know with a comment when you click through to see more detailed images, and stick with Sneaker News for this pair’s US release date. via HC/Taobao

Footscape and Free? Really? They’re a lot more closely knit than you think. In the early 90′s Nike researched a ton of ‘barefoot’ running, and born from that thought process was the Nike Footscape, which featured a unique mold that was designed in the shape of a foot and an off-centered lacing structure that displaced pressure away from sensitive areas of the foot. Of course, Nike Free arrived much later, but the idea of ‘Free’ was born around the same time. In comes the Nike Footscape Free, which seamlessly welds these two schools of thought – not exactly identical twins, but very close cousins. Featuring a breathable upper with the key Footscape and Free design elements, the Footscape Free hones in on the advantages of both models to create what might the most comfortable foot-formed running shoe to date. Premier has these 2012 launches available just before the New Year ($110 a pop), so check out the detailed angles of both and give the Footscape Free a whirl.

The Nike Air Flow was a retro release that caught quite a few heads off guard when they dropped this year. A lesser known model in Nike’s retro catalog, they had people lining up out of nowhere and were seemingly gone as soon as they hit shelves. There was a steady flow of the hybridized Lunar model, but sometimes you need the real deal. Fortunately the retro action will continue next year, in an updated textile look as we previewed here, and a return to the OG colorblocking with this blue and red pair. These new joints stay in line with the burning bright colors, this time with an almost USA like colorway. We’ve got a whole set of detailed pics after the jump so check ‘em out and hit up End to lock down a pair via pre-order ahead of their February release.

We’re glad Nike is taking a concerted effort in its lifestyle kicks, because we get understated gems like the upcoming Nike Manor. With releases like the Toki, Aina Chukka, and Hachi, Nike Sportswear offers a versatile collection for the sneakerheads who may have grown up into the ‘dress-sneaker’ stage, and the Manor fits right in with the vulc sole, suede and leather uppers, refined colorways, and sleek silhouettes. You can expect this Olive colorway to arrive in 2012, so check out the angles below and let us know what you think. via SneakerFreaker.

Nike Sportswear has been spotted re-gifting ‘Cashmere’ Air Force 1 Lows across the month of December, as we first saw the new cream-colored shade in canvas on one pair right at the middle of the month, then another one with Obsidian accents about a week later. It’s been a bit more than one additional week, and now we’re seeing a new Nike Air Force 1 Low featuring that same navy/beige mix, only flipped and with leather/suede instead of canvas/leather. Could this be some kind of vague reference to the fact that Seinfeld’s ‘The Red Dot’ first aired right around the same time that Kris Kross’ ‘Jump’ topped the pop charts? Probably not, but AF1s are still as fresh as they were in the early ’90s or any other time in their 30 year reign, and 2012 is shaping up to be quite the anniversary year, even before any special announcements. If you gotta get pumped for a sneaker release, look no further than one of the best collarborative storylines of the year, the ‘Ahchoo’ by Extra Butter. Despite surfacing at the last minute, the EB x Reebok AXT Pump still grabbed a good chunk of the votes in the Reebok category of our readers choice poll, but you can really make your vote count by copping one of the most well-executed on-paper-to-product collabs in years. A special release event will unwind midnight tonight at Extra Butter, but if you’re not able to be there in person, these will in fact go in sale tomorrow at 11 am on the EB web store. $135 for some high quality goodness, $60 for a sick limited edition hoodie, or a generous $180 for a shoes+hoodie package deal. This is where “saving the best for last” bodes especially true; cop the Extra Butter x Reebok AXT Pump ‘Ahchoo’ tomorrow without hesitation.

Whenever you get a group of five well-known sneakerheads with clear differences in opinion together to do a Top 10 list, you’ll always get a few clashes and some entertaining video footage. Complex just completed its Top 10 sneakers of the year, featuring a video recorded discussion of their panel debates. As stated before, the strong opinions don’t always align, but the panel, consisting of Russ Bengston, Joe La Puma, Ronnie Fieg, DJ Clark Kent, and Matt Halfhill, eventually come together to decide on the year’s best sneakers. Where will the Concords and Nike Mags fall? Check out the Complex Top 10 sneakers of the year below and let us know what you think.

Upon the triumphant retro return of the Nike Air Flow in 2011, the colorways we saw were split pretty evenly between dark tonal combos and glowing pastel looks. So far it looks like a similar schism may be planned for the 2012 run, with this straightforward black out pair playing the Dr. Jekyll to the fluorescent Voltage/Cherry version’s Mr. Hyde. Given how long this retro runner was stuck in the vault, it’s good to see that the Beaverton team is throwing some extended support into it for next year. Follow us after the jump to get the full look at the tonal black colorway of the Nike Air Flow, and hit up End for the pre-order now.

Now that the high-octane releases have set the Zoom KD IV up for major success, we’re starting to get a nice influx of team-based and GR colorways, but don’t let the term ‘general’ fool you into thinking you’re getting anything less. Thus far, the Nike Zoom KD IV colorways have been rather impressive, like the ‘Syracuse’ and ‘Dallas Mavericks‘ that have been trending as of late. We’re going to throw in another team this time around – the ‘Cincinnati Bengals’; this new colorway features a Black and Team Orange upper with grey possessing the midsole for a nice combo of colors that represents the Bengals quite accurately. We’ve got some extra angles for you below, so take a good look and stick with Sneaker News for more Zoom KD IV updates and info. via kicks-crew.
