The Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year Of The Rabbit’ was one of the best releases of 2011 and certainly one of the more memorable AF1 outputs in a long while. But 2011? That’s old news! Here’s a peek at 2012′s Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year Of The Dragon’; it features a tonal black upper constructed in a luxurious satin-like material with dragon detailing stealthily surrounding the upper. The midsole is also a solid white, and appears to be wrapped with leather for that ‘Supreme’ effect. Another interesting note is the new box, labeled AF1-XXX, signifying the 30th Anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1, the historic basketball shoe that laid the groundwork for the most successful line of basketball performance footwear. Thanks to Jack Edwards, we’ve got a nice look at these, so let us know what you think and get a pair in advance from playaplaya8219 on eBay.

Air Jordan V ‘Fire Red’ – Autographed Pair on eBay

Despite 2011 being a pretty big year for the Air Jordan V, not very many of the OG colorways came back out of the woodwork. In fact, the Black/Metallic silver version was the only one to do so, leaving heaters like the ‘Fire Reds’ behind in purgatory for a few more years. Not to worry though, we’ve located a pair on eBay. Did we mention they were signed by MJ himself? That’s right, the real story here is the Sharpie scrawl towards the front end of the shoe, which serves to skyrocket both their sentimental and cash value. The sneakers are also numbered out of 23, a detail that reinforces the obvious: you won’t see something like this very often. Hit the jump to get a better look at this Michael Jordan autographed pair of ‘Fire Red’ Air Jordan V’s and check out the auction now from gulfcoastcards555 on eBay.

Nike Dunk Low GS ‘Year of the Dragon’

nike dunk low gs year of the dragon 1 Nike Dunk Low GS Year of the Dragon

The Year of the Dragon begins on January 23rd and marks the earliest celebration of Chinese New Year since 1965. But in the sneakerhead world, the Water Dragon has made his mark well in advance of even the Gregorian calendar flip, starting all the way back in September when we first laid eyes on the LeBron 9 ‘China’. Zoom KD IV and Air Jordan 2012 colorways have popped up in the meantime, and it’d be a wise investment to wager on an Air Force 1 Low joining the fray, but today’s news is a kids-sized edition of the AF1′s biggest rival in the Nike Sportswear classics lineup. The Nike Dunk Low GS ‘Year of the Dragon’ loses the blue watery tones and instead opts for a black, red and gold colorup with lizard detailing on the overlay whose overall effect is both reptillian and reflects its country of origin. ’2012′ heel embroidery and a wicked dragon insole make these an interesting possibility for thsoe who can fit them, and you’ll see a series of detailed images when you click through on the jump below. via Ice Field

Nike Zoom KD IV – Black – Team Orange | New Images

The best team in the NBA is located in a) Miami or b) Oklahoma City. Answering that question shouldn’t yield any deduction in points, because while Miami’s Big Three is currently tearing it up, the Durant-led Thunder are causing their own mayhem by way of blowouts and buzzer-beating daggers. The scary part about Kevin Durant is that he just keeps getting better and better. Virtually unguardable and exceedingly humble, Durant’s chemistry both internal and outward have him winning multiple championships when it’s all said and done, and we could possibly remember the Nike Zoom KD IV as KD’s first Championship shoe. Does he have what it takes to do it all during this shortened (but arguably more arduous) season? Check out more images of the Black/Team Orange alternate ‘Away’ joints below and let us know what you think. via rmk.

2011 was the year that the medial-zippered Nike Blazer Mid AB made its debut, so fitting to see one of the new drops for the spring ’12 season releasing a bit early to make it in as one of this year’s final releases. This new Blazer Mid AB comes to us in a rough Cargo Khaki suede whose earhtiness is enhanced by tonal laces and similarly-colored zipper that differs from the brass style showed off in earlier previews. There’s also a black pair on the way with a similar setup, but it’s the olive edition you’ll see in a new series of images after the jump because that’s the one that’s available right now at Nike Harajuku.

Jordan Spiz’ike – University Blue – Italy Blue – Vivid Orange | New Images

Given their moniker, it’s unavoidable that any new colorway of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike prominently featuring blue or orange evokes a New York Knicks feel. The recent more outright Knicks pack solidified that notion, and it’s hard to look at the above pictured university blue version and not imagine that it would have fit right in alongside those Knickerbocker tributes. This drop again utilizes the icy sole that we don’t get too often on the Spiz’ike, with the vibrant orange soda look showing up on the bottoms. Pair that with the swirling shades of the tonal blue upper come in a bit lighter than the blue pair from the aforementioned pack and you’ve got more of a laid back feel than last time around. Follow us after the jump to get the full view and stick with us for release info on these Spiz’ikes. via RMK

Freegums Talks Nike LeBron 9 Collaboration

freegums talks nike lebron 9 collaboration Freegums Talks Nike LeBron 9 Collaboration

By this time last year we already had a definitive Miami flavored colorway of the Nike LeBron 8, but has any one colorway cemented that same status for the Nike LeBron 9 as of yet? A case can be made for a handful of them, and in that conversation the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9 collaboration must be included. While it doesn’t go for a flashy palette that many associate with the Miami aura, artist Freegums leaned a little more on the natural surroundings of Florida as inspiration for his fluid graphic prints that show up on the sneakers. Hit the jump to take a look at the video breakdown of Freegums discussing the background on this killer collab.
