Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer – White – Black – Sport Red

So new it hasn’t even popped up on any pro or college ballers this season, the Nike Zoom Hyperenforceris set to make an appearance at your local retailer.  This mid/high-cut design that adds Flywire to reinforce its Hyperfuse-built body seems like it’s exactly the kind of thing a relatively swift big man like Chris Bosh or Pau Gasol would be looking to wear now that Nike Basketball isn’t offering a strapped/Max Air-cushioned member of the Hyperdunk series.  The first two colorways are pretty basic, giving you the choice of either red or blue accents on a ‘home’ base template, but we’ll almost certainly see NBA player exclusive colorways if these take hold with the aforementioned frontcourt class.  Click through to see more of the Sport Red edition and stick with Sneaker News for word on their US availability, as they’re just starting to touch down in Asia.  via SM

Nike Sportswear’s stable of lifestyle silhouettes is aiming more and more for the toned down look, with models like the Nike Aina Chukka really trimming the fat as far as branding goes. The upcoming Nike Manor takes it a step further, as the nearly Swooshless sneaker leaves only the tongue with any marking of its origin. The clean design gets a boost here from this minty colorway, with the singular fresh tone dominating the upper. Nike has done their fair share of blending more formal footwear cues with straightforward sneaker designs as of late, with the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski and of course the upcoming Air Jordan 2012 featuring the brogue styling. It looks like the permeating designs go both ways, with brown-shoe Nike subsidiary Cole Haan picking up the Lunar treatment for an upcoming model. The so called LunarGrand swaps out the hard bottoms for some of that futuristic foam that’s been at the forefront of Nike’s running offerings for a while now. Follow us after the jump for a better look at the Nike x Cole Haan LunarGrand from the latest issue of Sneaker Freaker and let us know what you think of the cross-pollination at hand.

Last year’s Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Panda and Teddy Bear releases earned their rightful spot in the Sneaker News Top 30 Sneakers of 2011, but we reckon it’s time for Mr. Scott and adidas to come up with something a bit more extraordinary. If anyone can out-do Jeremy Scott, it’s probably Jeremy Scott, and based on this thorough preview of Spring 2012′s Footwear and Apparel Collection, we’re certain the core group of followers will only grow. Sneaker News has given you some nice previews of these upcoming items, like the Gorilla and Leopard editions if you like the animalistic styling, or a surprisingly understated pair of high-tops with oversized adidas branding on the tongues and wing-tip-like perforations along the heel. Take it all in after the jump and let us know what stands out in your eyes. via kidulty.

Nike Air Max 2012 ‘Mango’

January 2nd, 2012 by | 5 comments

nike air max 2012 mango 1 570x379 Nike Air Max 2012 Mango

The Nike Air Max+ 2012‘s Hyperfuse construction allows for unprecedented blending as in the case of the bold red/Volt pair or that cotton candy-looking WMNS drop we previewed a couple weeks back, or you can go in a different direction and make everything opaque while still emphasizing the shoe’s layered build.  This new Air Max 2012 comes through with two tones of grey serving as the backdrop for a mango orange top layer that finds its exuberant shade reflected on the full-length Max Air cushion.  As with the aforementioned translucent designs, this new mango AM2012 sets the bar for the more traditionally colorblocked end of the spectrum, which means all that’s left is for a pair or two to offer some full transparency.  Would you want clear running shoes, or did Nike get it right with an opaque range to compliment the blended pairs?  Let us know what you think about all the upcoming Air Max 2012 colorways after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the US release dates.  via Sneaker Freaker

Some of the more limited Nike Zoom KD IV releases up to this point have certainly felt like an Easter egg hunt, with heads having to search far and wide to lock down a pair. As we move into 2012 things should ease up a bit, with the range widening to include a handful of colorful pairs. One of the nicest we’ve seen from that batch is this ‘Easter’ version, sporting some minty green tones along with a clean white upper. This is the best look we’ve at them so far, and the new photos really show off the undeniable freshness of the palette used. Stick with us after the jump for the shots courtesy of kevindurant35/Mayor.
