Now that all the hype from the Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ release is starting to die down, and now that we’ve completed 2011 and its trio of Air Jordan III Retros, it’s time to move into a new year with a new focus from within the expansive and irreproachable Air Jordan Legacy. The Air Jordan X figures to play a significant role at least in the first half of 2012, three pairs on deck with two of them being brand new, including the pair pictured above. These ‘Stealth’ AJXs are likely to find us after the January ‘Chicago’ drop and February’s ‘Old Royal’ edition, their mix of black nubuck and dark grey tumbled suede the kind of thing that’s suitable any time of year, so long as the weather’s not wet. Both in materials and execution, they’re something like 2012’s answer to last year’s Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’; which pair did a better job at darkening up its classic silhouette? Let us know with a comment when you click through to see some more photos, and if you can’t wait until the (as yet TBD) release date, consider grabbing a pair early from el-store on eBay.
