Complex’s Top 25 Sneakers That Should Be Retroed Right Now

Sneaker re-issues spark that bit of nostalgia that allow the older generation of sneakerheads to block out the ‘grown-up’ problems and re-live days of youth. That’s a huge reason why the Air Jordan Retro was so significant when it began in 1994, and the same could be said about other re-issues like 2011′s Air Trainer SC II, Asics Gel Saga, and the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux. With a few more goodies already confirmed for 2012, Complex ran down a list of twenty-five sneakers that are due for a Retro, and we’ll point out immediately that there are no Air Jordan Retros on this list. We must say, it’s definitely one of the more thorough groupings we’ve seen in a while (with mentions of cult gems like the Nike Air Citizen, the Spot-Bilt X-Press, and a plethora of Reebok goodies), so take a quick walk down history lane with this list below, or head to Complex for the journey in its entirety.
i'm suprised nike has not retro'd the nike air dynamic flight. it was a hurrache that scottie pippen wore released back in 91 i believe. it was just before nike started making pippen his own signature shoes. i liked the white/black/red colorway personally, but there was a black/red/white colorway that actually had his number, 33, up by the ankle hole.
Please, no retro of the Zoom Citizen ...

Only shoe i could truly agree with on this list was the Flight light II's. Complex just didn't do enough research, as usual. What about Nike air missions? Air ups? DT 4 max? Air max 120s? Or, either zoom jets? or super zooms?

I've been waiting on the Air Zoom Generation 10 year anniversary hoping they'll come back out again. And the Shaqnosis and Kamikazes would be amazing. Reebok get on those and the Answer IV's.

I had 2 pair the Shaq 1's that I wore that hell out, no one in my school wanted those bastards. I wish Reebok would pull their heads out of their asses, shoot Shaq a little cash and Retro them, I need another pair.
I had those tennis shoes with the Kevlar on them. I loved those shoes. Where are the Ewings? I buy them all and burn them so nobody would ever have to wear a shoe with EWING in 4" letters written on the heel again.

Yeahhh.....dem Force Dave Robinson joints would murder anything that I have seen on the market so far except maybe a official original colorway of a Retro J, Airmax Uptempo, Bo Jackson , or Penny Airmax. Fuck a foamposite,Kobe, and Labron shoe they are so overrated and fools keep paying ridicolous sugg. retail for them better u then me cuz i refuse.

They retroed similar New Balance shoes (the P790) in 2010. I bought a pair. Those Converse should definitely retro in a few colorways. I'd buy two!

I'm usually a fan of the lists that complex puts out, they usually do great work with these kinds of articles, but this needed more thought before posting. most of the stuff on this list would not sell.
