Over the past couple weeks here on Sneaker News, we’ve given you looks at the ‘All-Star’/’Big Bang’ and ‘Dunkman’ colorways of the Nike LeBron 9, a couple of looks that each has its root in an annual tradition. Additional count-on-it colorups commeorate special periods from LeBron James’ childhood, and though they’ve often been overshadowed by the St. Vincent-St. Mary high school PEs, it’s going to be hard to top the Summit Lake Hornets LeBron 9 this year. As Grape-y as can be, this new LeBron 9 player exclusive colorway for King James’ AAU squad finds itself considerably more eye-catching than last year’s navy blue edition, this purple-plus-aqua getup even featuring the team’s signature wasp on the heel badge. Have a closer look at the latest in a long line of high-energy LeBron 9s and let us know where these rank in that impressive list. via HC
