Finally just ordered mine...too many good release for this year not to commemorate it....look forward to analyzing your grid, layout, use of rules, and type treatment (I already like what I see from the previews) #designnerd
Man there are really a shit load of haters. -_- I will deff buy it AFTER I buy my 3's. lol It looks like a really good collectors piece. Keep it up SN.
i would've paid more for a hardback copy......that would have been one for the bookshelves. The paperback is def. more of a bathroom reader but oh well, still copping! Keep this going SN I want an encyclopedia one day in like, 2050 of these lol
great idea with the book, something to have as a collectibles. also something to have on hand to look back on. Great idea Sneakernews! Magu www.maguclothing.com
Great collectible and I am debating on whether to grab another one. These are so dope people dont know shit--like dude said above it would be sick to have like 15-25 years of the time you collected sneakers the most or whatever and to look back and be like damn I remember that shoe it was sick---either way this was a dope dope idea and I really hope you guys continue it for next year---fantastic idea. Watch in 15 years itll be worth bank follow me on Instagram @ hassellhoff
I think I will buy 2 and give one to our boring local library.. come on! there needs to be somebody who wants to read them!
you guys should make the book as a timeline piece. from a certain year to the present.. might attract more customers??
Haha what a joke. But good job Sneaker News! It looks like there are already some dummies who bought into this nonsense.
no sorry. the book won't be available anywhere else. Only here: http://sneakernews.com/top-30-sneakers-of-2011-bo...
if all the sneakers didnt make me go broke this would be a perfect book to put on the basket next to the toilet for my guest to read while they shit next to the magazines and stuff... dope ass book yo fuck the haters
They took there time to make it seem dope i copp one if you cant afford the 25 bucks you defiantly wont be able to afford whats inside. Sneakers
Is this a charity or just another SneakerNews greedy profit gainer? Come on, be real.. Why do we need to see a book of 30 pages filled with sneakers??
You don't. You can check it out here: http://hd.sneakernews.com/sneaker-news-top-30-sne... We just did it for fun and we spent more money on this project than we'll ever make back selling the book.
Agreed. There's nothing wrong with taking something that is online and putting it into print - it happens more often than people think. This is done well, too. Nice images, and even better - lots of text to read about the shoe and what went into making it, the design, and its reception. Personally, if this was done EVERY year, I think it'd be an awesome collection to have on my coffee table or on a bookshelf. Nothing like looking at a book 15 years down the road and thinking/saying "remember when THOSE came out!?"
