New Balance ML999GP – Grey – Purple – Black
January 4th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 8 comments

The New Balance 999 came back in a huge way in 2011 thanks to the super-successful ‘Kennedy’ collaboration with Boston’s Concepts, and it’s been slowly but surely working its way into the NB Classic rotation for the past couple seasons since. The latest NB999 comes in a colorway you might associate with a city near the opposite coast, as the purple and black accents most certainly provide a certain ‘King’-ly feel to this grey suede and mesh design. They’re sure to be a hit in and around Sac-Town, but one look at how well they pair with brown pants should make these a go-to design for an entire set of sneakerheads across the country this winter. What brand are those pants?
Skinny Brand

The Dunes are coming
I've always thought the ML999s were one of the more uncomfortable NBs. That midsole is so stiff, the "Abzorb" heel just doesn't have any cushioning opposed to the more cushy models like the MR993, M991, and M998
1300's are the most comfortable, In my opinion..
