Kobe’s sneakers have a history of beastly tie-ins, what with the scaly upper from the Nike Zoom Kobe VI and of course the Black Mamba nickname that’s been explored in a variety of releases. For his latest we’ve seen the inspiration steer even further towards the primal, with the cheetah flavored Christmas pair and of course the forthcoming ‘Predator Pack’. The watery look shown here is from the Shark pair from said pack, with the cool treasure blue mimicking the ocean water and the Jaws-looking logo on the back end making the inspiration clear. We had originally pinned these as an early March drop, but the update on these is a February release date. Also, make sure you get a full look at the photos we’ve got waiting after the jump. via HKK
