Asics GT-II – Salmon – Baby Blue

It was all the way back in March of 2010, way before Ronnie Fieg x Asics mania hit classic running fans around the world, that we got our first glimpse at the ‘Salmon Toe’ Gel Lyte III. Ronnie had kept those as a remnant of his days at David Z, then held them under wraps for another 18 months before word hit about their release at Fieg’s new Kith retail spot, but the inspiration arguably came even further back when Asics did up a ‘Salmon & Butter’ pack of GT IIs created for summer 2009′s Bread & Butter Berlin tradeshow. So while this new pair of Asics GT IIs held by noted celebrity sneakerhead Theophilus London might remind you of RF’s design, they’re actually a bit closer to that older Omega 3-rich design. The BBB ‘Salmon’ GT II was a friends & family release and Fieg’s hit a year and a half after their first tease; could we expect a similar timeline on this newest revelation? Only time will tell, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for all the upcoming release dates.

Man this will be my first pair of RF Asics and please "who wears asics" uhmm a lot of people do because theyre ridiculously comfortable and theyre a nice silhouette and obviously the jordan and foamposite hypebeasts wouldnt understand anything abt them lol oohh well sucks for you guys all i gotta say is these need to drop and in advance im soo mad everytime the release is announced its at the beginning of the week i never get paid soo i get ohdee pissed!
This is most likely an RF collabo. He teased it on the Kith site when they did the jacket photoshoot with the Leatherbacks and Mazarine Blues.

My favorite of his designs, ever. This coming from a guy who has bought or tried to buy everything he has put out in the past three years.
