With new iterations of Nike’s limitless running models dropping each year, you have to begin to wonder what makes this one so much better than the last. The aesthetic alterations are always pretty evident, but more important to that is the performance augmentations year by year dreamed up in the Innovation Kitchen on campus at Nike HQ out in Beaverton, OR. One such upgrade is the new Dynamic Fit System, an element at play in the recently debuted Nike LunarEclipse+ 2. Striving to create a second skin of sorts, Nike designers brought in artist Joanne Gair to conceptualize the project by painting the design on bare feet. From there the wrap-around fit system was created, which minimizes the space between the foot and the shoe for the ultimate fit. Follow us after the jump for a great gallery of pics.
