Air Jordan 2012 ‘Year of the Dragon’ – Detailed Images
January 12th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 39 comments

Jordan Brand debuted its ‘Choose Your Flight’ marketing push at the beginning of the holiday season, highlighting the unique talents of Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony with the taglines ‘Fly Around’, ‘Fly Over’ and ‘Fly Through’, respectively. JB’s big three all have their own signatures tailored to each one’s game, and now the Air Jordan 2012 comes through with a triple threat of cushioning options that brings all the ‘Flight’ options together. Along with three cushioning platforms, you can choose from either blue or the almost boxing shoe-like yellow removable booties, both of which feature tongue emblems fitting the ’Year of the Dragon’ theme. The AJ2012 makes a clear statement about combining luxury with cutting edge performance the second you see its distinctive build, and with six different setups in one box, it’s arguably the most complete basketball shoe ever released. Click through to see more of the impressive three-drawer packaging as well as a variety of close-us of the shoe and all its components, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for word on the Air Jordan 2012 YOTD release date. via Kenlu

how musch this shoes ?
would love to know how available they will be.
From the moment i saw these i absolutely wanted to get them Idk what they'll cost, since they have all that technology But i know ppl are gonna start hyping up about them whenever they see them Being worn by celebrities like Wale and ball players like D Wade
it looks a little bit like my jordan levis pack :P
These should have been the d wade shoe.
LMAO!!! WTF! is this!!!?.... build your own phuckin shoe???whats next? LEGO AND AIR JORDAN collaborate to make the AIR JORDAN 2013 where your make what ever the phuck you want?
don't give them ideas , they're fucking up on their own lmao . i stuck for the last 4 models and probably want to see this in a all black color way but this year of this and year of that "special" color ways r just too funny
even this nice colorway cant save this shoe. but they kinda copy the kobe system here
lol i think these are good BALL shoes not really a jean shoe but i want to see on feet pics b4 i keep tht judgment
i actually like the 2012's! ...if Jordan wore these in 1997, yall will be all over these shoes! (i will wait till they go on sale, LOL)
I like them, not as much as the 2011s, but I do like them. Throw in all the extras and this is a cool pick up, especially to actually ball in.
HAHA startin to see the comment section say "these arent so bad" and "im starting to like them" smh thats how it all starts lol
Every1 will hop on em as soon as people see Wade wearin em.
I will say the high top tongue is better looking than the KObe sock
Disappointed in Tinker as usual.....they look terrible without the high bootie thing.
aesthetically because of the color they are not the most beautiful shoes, but from a functionality perspective they are great, it's all about choice for the consumer, 2 inner sock liner, 3 different soles, now let's see a price, and decide if it's worth it
COMPLETE JOKE!
Cats overreact before they even have an opportunity to see the shoe in person. I like that JB is pushing the envelope and not being stale. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the AJ 2012 have the SPIRIT of the beloved AJ XI. Obviously there is no similarity aesthetically speaking, but the AJ 2012 introduces a look and feel which is brand name to the game: the AJ XI had its supple patent leather and overall graceful look, the 2012 bring in wing tips (WING TIPS!) fused with Flywire and interchangeable soles. And if your suit game is wear it should be, you already know about wing tips. Some of you are too young to understand how Insane patent leather was on a sneaker. But this has the same feel to me. I'm not saying these are the equal of the XI's, but I'm am saying that they piqué my interest and I'll reserve final judgement until I can actually hold them.
I like them. Nice colorway and packaging. As I said before though they will sell because the hypebeast is a vicious animal and takes no chances on something they can make money from smh these look better than the ugly dorenbecher iv
i like them
is anyone in the NBA even gonna wear the 2012? JB needs to get their weight up...should signed kemba walker, c'mon MJ, he even plays for your team
10+ for the effort JB...but looks like to pumpin it up cuz otherwise will be an averege shoe...
With the low-cut inner, they look like Team Jordan's. With the high-cut, they look like they were designed by somebody who was born blind. By far the worst of the legacy models.
i do not like these at all. that side profile of the shoe sealed the deal for me. jordan brand is really putting out some UGLY shoes. their using a special box to get sales of these. i DO NOT LIKE THESE @ ALL
I think every sneaker site should have view where they show how the shoes look with jeans on...I'm willing to bet these would look good with a pair of Levis
colorway,insoles,packaging= nice........ Shoes=yuck...
I think i'm the only person that likes this shoe. so what
Naw. I kinda like it too. Not a big fan of the high ankle support, because i don't ball, but I'm sure it will feel good on the court.
Will probably get these. I like the aesthetics of the shoe and it's a drastic move from everything else that's out there.
and think if u redid the laces instead of having them tight
its actually not that bad u guys.. think about it thats a size .. maybe 13...its super long... its ugly but it works. very creative and in a small size could probably bring some hype
u can see on the side, size 9
This colorway is dope. I missed out on the lebron entourages so I will be coppin these, and will rock with my golden state jersey.
Expecting these to be great ball shoes... Both aesthetically and performance wise. Loving their look and the high ankle support. Great colorway and design and love how the Jordan brand keeps leather as the main material in their sig shoes.
