The Nike Free Run+ 2 introduced this familiar upper design, in which the Design Leads used the anatomy of the foot to create that truly ‘barefoot’ running motif. Using a well-ventilated mesh upper as the base layer, the Free Run+ 2 truly created that no-frills running experience, but there are those who have grown accustomed to the ‘Walking On Air’ cushioning provided by Nike’s award-winning Max Air technology. For the 2012 Air Max flagship, the designers have transplanted that familiar anatomical foot construction with the Walking On Air 360-degree unit to create a brand new sensation of comfort and performance, and this February, the men will have nine insane colorways to choose from – your basic Black/Whites to your high-energy Bright Mango/Bright Blues. We’ve got a thorough look at the nine February releases below, so take a good look and let us know which of the nine catches your eye.

These are nice. But yes, the 2009 and 2011 still looked better than these.
These will retail for what 160? 40 more dollars and I can make my own pair of 2009's on NikeId. I'm holding off till more colorways drop, where's the volt?

Love these! Of course this is a hybrid, but we're talkin the combination of two of the sweetest Nikes ever. Works for me like PB and J baby! Love my Air Max 2011s and looking forward to getting these the day they come out. Would like to see some bright green though...

These are pretty sweet..but I still think the 2009's and 2011's are better.

...easily the,or one of the BEST uppers ever on a AIRMAX RUNNER as far as weight & breathability,but not as ATTRACTIVE visually as the AIRMAX 95s,AIRMAX ULTRAs,or AIRMAX 09s...all of which I have in my closet.
