With all the success the Nike Griffey signature line has been garnering over the last few years, one would be wise to not expect Griffey to disappear from Nike product lines anytime soon. One way to keep the legacy going is to re-release the original models, like the Total Griffey Max ’99, which we gave you release dates on earlier this week. Another way is to re-hash some older classics with contemporary styling, and Nike certainly did that with the Air Max JR and the upcoming Air Max Griffey Fury. It utilizes the present-day full-length Max Air unit and Hyperfuse upper while adapting the design lines and curves from the Air Diamond Fury from the 90′s, all of which converges at one point to create the Nike Air Max Griffey Fury. Expect the Black/White-Action Green release to hit stores this March 3rd, so check out the additional angles below and let us know what else you think Nike has in store for the future of Air Griffey.
