The beloved Rod Laver lowtop recently joined the adidas Skateboarding lineup, but that doesn’t mean the Originals division is going to stop cranking out new colorways from this time tested tennis pro. The adidas Originals Rod Laver Vintage Lux brings three new pairs together with the same basic construction: premium canvas uppers accented by tonal brushed suede toes, tongues and heel tabs, all riding a white sole and with a golden top eyelet thrown in for good measure. This formula works perfectly on black and navy pairs that add white contrast stitching, though the look of a brown design with a more muted approach to its lines suggests they could have done just as well with tonal embroidery.
