It would be tough to distinguish one Air Jordan from another without the classification system we have in place today, but thanks to these easy terms like ‘Playoffs’, one can quickly become an expert on all the taxonomic ranks in the Air Jordan kingdom. Not even the most colored Air Jordan historian could pinpoint when and where this system was put into place, but let’s just be glad it exists! This particular Air Jordan XII colorway has adopted the ‘Playoffs’ moniker because Michael wore these during the Home Playoff games of the 1997 Playoffs; remember MJ posterizing Dikembe Mutumbo and introducing to the world his new standing fist-pump celebration after sinking a game-winner in Game 1 of the Finals? Yeah, he did that in these. AAAAH! 2012 man thats all i got to say…what a year for retros! its ganna be great and crazzzy!! so many hot releases and some we still havnt even heard of yet!! can you say broken pockets! cant wait 10s 4s 12s pretty much 1 month after the other then the Olympics both comin juuly at the same time jordan needs to slow down some of us got childern! lol

i have mine from 2004 so i am fine but 1 thing i keep seeing on the web is sure they released in february 2004 but the product date on the tag says 03
