A Detailed Look At The Freegums x Nike LeBron 9
January 17th, 2012 by John K. | 13 comments

The Nike LeBron 9 has been released in a diverse library of colorways since it first dropped in October, but if you had to pick the most distinguished of the bunch, there’s no doubt that the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9 is deserving of that title. Designed by Miami-native artist Alvaro ‘Freegums’ Ilizarbe, the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9 captures the sizzling local flavor as it features Freegums’ trademark stylings all around the shoe. It turns out, Nike’s desire for the collaboration and Freegums’ personal methods intermingled a lot more than expected, which is why the final result was such a huge hit – even LeBron himself has been spotted with them during a game that fell on a special night. Sneaker News teamed up with Foot Locker Unlocked for this nice feature, so if you want to get an in-depth look and feel for the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9, become a Foot Locker VIP member and check out the exclusive story at Foot Locker Unlocked, where you will find this and other sneaker stories and info exclusive to members!

They looked real nice on TV with black laces.
damn i hate too much color but i hate it more when a collab effort looks like a GR
they are a GR
wait till they go on sale
if they hit the clearance rack i'm on em
only 9 i think i will grab is the griffeys
When you see the pics on Eastbay or FinishLine is one thing but when you have them and see them up close they are really a pair worth having. These are a great addition to any collection.
