On one of the most historically significant nights of the year, Jordan Brand athlete Ray Allen paid tribute to the pioneer of the Civil Rights movement by wearing a pair of gorgeous Air Jordans fit for the occasion. Yesterday was Martin Luther King Day, and although there was no set of Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand PEs like there was in 2011, Ray Allen’s Air Jordan XII PE was enough to keep us in tune; it features a Black/Gold colorway with Allen’s ‘Sugar Ray’ tagline stitched on the outer heels of the shoe. they are magnetic stickers, similar to the "power balance" crap, he also wears one between his shoulders on the bottom of the neck. its supposed to give balance and whatnot, a bunch of hoopla if you ask me

no one has a shoe game like Ray Allen…and if theres someone to compare to him, its Melo. Ik ya'll seen MTV cribs when Melo was on there like his 2nd year in the league. But go back to when Allen was with the Supersonics…them PE 5's, 8's you name it. i'd love to look at his shoe closet <3
