The Nike/Jordan Year Of The Dragon releases have taken the ‘special edition’ box to the next level. A three-tiered box, a transparent dragon-detailed sleeve, a fold-up case – all gorgeous and magnificent in their own respect right but tame compared to the special packaging seen here – the Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘Year Of The Dragon’. The box itself is in the shape of the dragon’s head, but inside it is the Nike Zoom Kobe VII with a special compartment for the secondary cushioning unit. You will certainly need to Attack Fast and Strong to get your hands one on of these limited-edition boxes, because if last year’s Nike Air Force 1 ‘Year Of The Rabbit’ is any indication, the special packaging is likely to be limited. A solid release date has yet to be set, but you can count on the entire collection dropping very soon as the Chinese New Year begins this Monday, January 23rd.
