Although not officially listed as one of LeBron James’ heroes, the upcoming release of the Griffey-infused Nike LeBron 9 is certainly a clear message that LeBron idolizes the ‘Swingman’. This colorway that combines an OG Air Griffey Max 1-esque Teal and Red exudes that Mariners feel, with the matte finish of the Hyperfuse upper shell giving off the emerald city appeal. These are soooooooo dopeee. im a huge fan of the lebron 9 easily a classic sneaker and with such a wide array of colorways how can these be hated...Cannons,Chinas,Kentuckys,Freegums and the colorways also coming soon how can these be passed on?? Why cuz u wud rather get a garbage quality hyped up get shot sprayed and tazed for jordan? Nah no thanks i like the brons!! Nike yet again u bring an amazing color to the palette lets see this green abyss color used enough hyping up eggplant and retro and filament green use these sick colors!!!

Hhmmmmmm....the colour has changed on these. Remember, the first round of pics were quite navy/obsidian, not teal like these. It makes sense, considering it's Griffey-inspired, but I just don't like this shade as much.

Aesthetically the shoe is sick! performance wise TERRIBLE! payed $180 for some shoes that couldnt even grip a hardwoord court! Not sure if it is because of the pattern on the bottom or the material used on it, either way very disappointed

This shoe has some of the best initial release colorways for as far as I can think. Remember the days people were trashing the lebron 9 model, then the colorways started releasing and everything changed, not being out of bounds, but this shoe will go down as legendary, the work Nike has put into this shoe is nothing short of remarkable.
You are 100% correct. While it looks nothing like an AM95, it has the same feel to it. SOOO many colorways can make the shoe look SOOO good.
