Nike+ FuelBand

“You can set a goal for every day and then go out and beat it.”

Nike’s been in the business of facilitating athletes’ transcendence across five decades, and today marks the release of a product that represents not only the company’s strength as the worldwide leader in sports footwear and apparel, but an approach to holistic health that has the potential to push you to new heights. The Nike+ FuelBand tracks your motions throughout the day, be they in the course of walking, running, balling or breakdancing, and translates your output using proprietary technology to issue you a NikeFuel score. This normalized measure should increase fairness across the potentially vast spectrum of user athletic abilities, and all of them will be inspired to go further with the FuelBand’s countdown LEDs offering a constant reminder of the targets you’ve set. Click through for a few videos and you can pre-order your FuelBand for $149 at NikeStore later today, so you can sync up with the Nike+ website and track your progress.

Any news on the Nike+ Soccer?

  2. louie Says:

Its basically a calorie counter that 150 bucks.
Truth is no calorie counter is accurate because people are different. Nike says calibrated for everyone.
Exercise is different too. Sprinting burns less calories then jogging but jogging burns less fat and wont make you as fast as someone who sprints. (studies have proven this)
Nike says not moving doesn't count. Well bs cuz most of the calories we use daily go to keep our blood flowing, heart pumping, lungs working, air flowing (the basics) even when we are sitting or even sleeping.
So basically nike has made a 150 dollar light up bracelet that shows you numbers that are inaccurate to make you feel good about yourself.
I give it 5 months before the dude from shamwow is selling the same looking bracelet for 2 payments of 9.99

  3. JDilla Says:

Read the tech bro. Ever thought of NEW TECHNOLOGY? this is not your Kmart "calorie" counter. Every think anybody told Steve Jobs that they already made mobile phones? PROGRESS. Save your money and buy a book. This think looks dope.

  4. Corey Says:

Luckily for Nike the general public is retarded when it comes to health and fitness.

  5. BrandonBucketz Says:

They might as well make a "Nike Phone"

  6. Ron Burgundy Says:

Will it be able to count my calories after I do 1,000 curls in my office?

  7. louie Says:

new technology doesnt mean good technology.
In 1970 if your car broke down you had a good chance of repairing the problem on the side of the road.
2012 car breaks down….. national security needs to be called in cuz your cars computer just got hacked by the chinese

  8. geminicricket Says:

JDilla, go buy it nobody cares. A gimmick is a gimmick and that's what these are. Looks flashy and what not but it's still just a calorie counter.

  9. Bizzy Says:

I stopped taking you serious when you said "It looks dope". You're going to buy this bracelet for fashion . . . .

  10. Kojak Says:

    Hell yeah Louie, I'm a french personal trainer… I think the same… it's just a commercial launching…

  11. ::::::: Says:

  12. geminicricket Says:
