On Thursday, Sneaker News showed you a sick pair of Jordan Fly Wade Customs made for Michael Jordan’s son Marcus, a star guard for the UCF Knights. The amazing artwork was done with the simplest of art tools (a Sharpie marker), but Marcus points out the intricate details and the meaning behind all the names scribed into the graphic print. He calls the custom his ‘Motivation’, as he plays the sport of basketball for his closest friends and family, and points to the deliberate placement of his own name and his father’s name on opposite heels, symbolizing a ‘head-to-head’ match-up. Marcus wore the Fly Wade customs during UCF’s win over Memphis, but the game was extra special because his father Michael was in attendance for that game, and apparently the extra motivation of the senior Jordan’s presence translated well, as Marcus finished with 20 points. Marcus details the concept behind this custom job in a video below so take a look and let us know what you think!
