Nike Huarache Free Basketball 2012 New Colorways @ 21 Mercer

The Nike Huarache Free Basketball 2012 certainly has been a challenging sneaker for internet dudes prone to turn their nose at any sort of hybrid sneaker. Coming with a mixture of OG-reminiscent colorways along with the newer blacked out versions, this mash up of running technologies has been a hot commodity ever since their quickstrike arrival towards the tail end of 2012. Now with February right around the corner an even bigger range is set to drop, but Nike’s 21 Mercer in NYC already has their hands on ‘em. Follow the jump to check out all four colorways, and hit up 21 Mercer to grab a pair for yourself before they disappear.

I see two reasons for this lanuch.1) Nike no longer needs to be exclusively tied to Apple (iPod and iTunes).2) USTAF has banned the use of headphones during races.I originally thought it would be a good tool to use during races because of the headphone rule, but the steep price tag (for a polyurethane band with a mounted USB) and the limitations listed in this article have convinced me that it’s a gadget I can live without.
