Never before have New Balance’s retro running releases been so varied, and we’re moving into a year when more of their beloved classics will be available in more different ways than ever before. Following up on the success of the Custom 574, we just shared with you word of the New Balance 993 available for online customization. As you might expect, there are quite a few different colors of suede and mesh available, but if you decide to leave the design to the professionals, you’re not going to do much better than the pair pictured above. These new NB993s freshen up the classic tonal grey approach with a few expertly placed copper accents (hence the ‘C’ in GRC) that set these apart from both the iconic NB look and the recent array of grey/orange kicks that tend to use the latter’s blaze shade. Check these out up close after the jump and let us know if they’re worth importing. via ST
