It won’t be February’s Foamposite release because the Varsity Red Ones are just too perfect a fit with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, but the ’Electrolime’ Nike Air Foamposite One could indeed have been an interesting addition to the growing spread of 2012 NBA All-Star footwear. A colorway once teased as ‘Golden State’, this bright yellow getup keeps a blue ’1c’ insignia and in doing so makes us wonder what might have been had the infamous Draft Day 1993 trade not gone down. Could we have been celebrating this upcoming ASG with Air Max Sensation retros instead of Air Penny drops? Timing turns out to be everything with these kinds of tributes, and while we won’t get access to the ‘Electrolime’ Faomposite Ones here in the States until St. Patrick’s Day, you might see pairs pop up on the ‘Bay since a limited number of pairs will be releasing in SE Asia tomorrow. i'm a foam lover, but these are a let down to me. they are a weak looking barfy yellow color.

I was really thinking I'd get these but the more and more I see these I get turned off from them. Wish it was a color way the influence of Steelers colors instead of Warriors. Think I'll wait for that Silver Pro with the Red outsoles or that Black Space Jam looking foam. Think this Foam gets to outlets like the Cough Drops?

this shoe got killed for me about 2454532 colorways ago. sad to see all the hypebeasts walking around in them these days (mostly directed to people who own just about every colorway), and highly disappointed in Nike's sourcing ethics, exploiting cheap labor (even tho it's basically a must for any company to turn a high enough profit for shareholders these days). strictly gonna stick to Nike SB dunks from now on, no hyped up retros or others (grails or not, its just a shoe!), not wasting any money feeding this beast more than i have to. *sigh* wishing i understood what this world is comin to lol

I'm NYC head so i buy kicks on a reg. I've been buying foams and jordans since Jr High, jordans and JB took there prices up about $20 -$30 a pop. as far as foam's if you dont remember the 1st OG penny Royals dropped at $220 + Tax. The pro's where a little less because they didnot have to carry a player's name……. but i see what you trying to say. All in all these foams are not worth $220 or $160 at that. The color is trash doesnt look good, they DEFIANTLY(S.O. to Pete lol) are messing up a classic sneaker with all these off the wall colors.

Foams used to be dope…but releasing over 10 color ways in the past 2 years is a fucking joke!! RIP FOAM NIKE MADE YOU MORE COMMON THEN CHUCKS
