The OG Swingman continues to get at-bats in Nike Sportswear’s batting line-up thanks to the 2012 re-issue of the Nike Total Griffey Max ’99. This new Black/Zen Grey-Varsity Red colorway features a flat black leather upper with a faux carbon-fiber applique on the ‘tidal wave’ detailing on the upper as well as one the Swingman logo on the heel, with Varsity Red on the Swingman halo as well as on the Max Air unit. Given that the Air Griffey Max GD II wasn’t nearly an electrifying Retro as the Air Griffey Max 1, will the Max ’99 hit for a single, double, triple, homer, or strike out looking? OGs had tuned air, these don't. The OG grey/red were my favorites
They changed the bottoms on them
does anyone know if these are OG or changed? I don't remember and I"m having a tough time finding original pics. Any help would be appreciated.

Nah, they released too many griffey ones, and this is coming from a Griffey fiend. I'll admit it my pockets can't keep up between foams, Jordan retros, griffeys, lebrons, and runners plus winter boots :/
