In this era when we’re seeing more new colorway ‘sampling’ custom designs than the traditional one-off approach, have any models been more popular repositories of other sneakers’ palettes than the LeBron 8 and Air Jordan VI? The latter is back for yet another round, this time offering an expanded take on a theme that Nike SB once tried to utilize only to be turned back by legal troubles. The Air Jordan VI ‘Krueger’ isn’t a tribute to industrial smoothing, but rather a sendup of Wes Craven’s Elm Street villain including his gruesome facial skin and singature striped sweater. These are quite a bit more graphic than the Dunk Low Pro SB that got nixed when Paramount filed suit, but how do they compare to Diversitile’s Dunk Highs that popped up around the last Halloween?
