Today marks the start of Black History Month 2012, and following yesterday’s first look at the Zoom Kobe VII, let’s take a gander at the Nike LeBron 9 in its ‘BHM’ colorway. We knew from the relatively blurry catalog images that surfaced about two weeks ago that all three of Nike Basketball’s big three signature models would come in tonal grey with a red-dominant pattern on the trim. These ‘Black History Month’ LeBron 9s feature the same printed sockliners as the Kobe 7s, but the ZKVII’s uppers remain considerably more complex as compared to the LeBron’s two-tone build. I like the LB9 colorways, but seriously i still can't bring myself to rock such an awkwardly hi-top shaped shoe, but dope colorways none the less.

This might not be the best Lebron colorway but it is a lot better looking than past Black History Month sneakers.
