Derrick’s game is rich in explosion, scoring prowess, and leadership. Derrick’s wallet, on the other hand, is just rich. After signing a five-year extension with the Chicago Bulls, reports regarding a life-time contract with adidas worth $250 million floated around during the beginning of last month. It’s an investment worth every penny because while the U.S. market is dominated by Nike Basketball and its Big Three, the adidas Rose series, according to sources, outsells the Nike LeBron and competes with the Nike Zoom Kobe in China. adidas is already poised for a strong continuation of the adidas adiZero Rose 2 with the recent unveiling of the 2.5, but here we have a nice teaser shot of the 2.5 side-by-side-by-side with the adidas adiZero 773 and the upcoming adidas adiZero 3.0. Sandwiched between the 773 (left) and the 2.5 (right) is the 3.0, which features Rose’s ‘1’ jersey number on the upper heel, a redesigned three-stripes applique on the heel that reached down into the outsole, and a higher ankle cut to protect Derrick Rose’s multi-million-dollar ankles. Check out a full shot of these three below and stick with Sneaker News for more adidas Rose updates. via regularolty
