Nike Air Flight ’89 ‘True Blue’
February 2nd, 2012 by John K. | 15 comments

Was it not for a significant turn of events, the Air Jordan line would have paved a completely different road. Michael was poised to be the primary representative for Nike Basketball’s new ‘Flight’ division, balancing out the rugged ‘Force’ that was (no pun intended) a force since ’82. Instead, the Air Jordan legacy continued on a greater path, but Michael still wore the Air Flight ’89, making the shoe one of the greatest cult-hits today. We first showed you a preview of numerous Flight ’89 colorways for 2012 then followed that up with a look at a sample pair of the ‘True Blue’, but much to the satisfaction of flight ’89 fans, worldwide this well-executed colorway is now available at in-store at select retailers like Oneness.

I wasn't gonna get these cuz I got da True Blue 3's, but fuck it, these r fresh, i'm gettin em.
...SCOTTIE PIPPEN...classic NIKE.
classic shoe, in a classic color- that Jordan 4 midsole sets it off nicely.
They look on point, but just looking at the material quality from the pics I can tell its that very cheap feeling synthetic crap. I'll wait til these end up at the outlets.
These look good but you can see, that there will be cream and blue.
yea these are hard
I still love J's, but these break necks.
I'd bet the cement iv's midsole will crack before these. If these even do crack.
I love 89 flights...coppin for sure
I will be grabbing a pair of these.
I remember having a pair of these in elementary school. They were White/Grey/Black. Those were some great shoes. May have to pick up a pair.
Damn, love these!
Though a beautiful shoe, I would still prefer the Flight Hi 89.
Missed out on the 3's these shall be copped
these go hard
