People have always said that Foamposite was something out of this world. Using the ‘Big Bang’ theme for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, Nike Sportswear went where no man has gone before and introduced the ‘Galaxy’ Foamposite, showcasing the colorization possibilities of the material that still stirs up lengthy conversation today. Using these types of colorways isn’t exactly new to Nike, as the non-solid color and traditional colorblocking was something done decades, but with the Galaxy being the first of such releases for Foamposites, sneakerheads are itching for what else could be in store. The release date is now reported to be Saturday, February 25th, right in time for the All-Star Weekend festivities, and will come attached with this dope ‘Remove Before Flight’ tab with the Nike Flight logo inspired by the NASA symbol.
