Given all the beastly tie-ins on the Kobe side of things, how did LeBron get stuck with a hornet as his spirit animal? OK that’s not exactly how it happened, as the ‘Summit Lake Hornets’ motif is actually a tribute to the youth league team where LeBron got his start. And while the colorway homage lands on a squad the vast majority of us have never seen play, the pair pulls through with the teal/purple combo and the nice bit of background story. Jada, you know it, too bad Grandmama didn't have these. But I'll wear these easily with my OG Teal Charlotte Hornets Starter from 1992(?)

Even tho Id prably never wear these I would not feel right passing on these..The Lebron 9 has turned out to be a great shoe for lebron. I have not seen a bad colorway on these yet besides the kentuckys..
