While the rest of Nike Basketball’s Hyper- offerings have taken over the market, even to the extent that the new Hyperenforcer is now available on NIKEiD, the above pictured model has been almost forgotten. The Nike Lunar Hypergamer appeared to offer a LunarLon-cushioned alternative to the Zoom Hyperfuse series, but we’ve not seen it since the Tony Parker PE that popped up back when the NBA season typically kicks off. Particularly good news, then, to see two new Lunar Hypergamers pop up out of nowhere, both navy/white and bred palettes manifesting on the same blocking pattern. The Swooshes on these have a similar kind of gridded Hyperfuse that showed up on a recent Zoom KD IV sample, which begs the question: how will this nearly overlooked design compete against the Swoosh’s established hits? Let us know what you think when you click through for more angles and be on the lookout for these pairs soon. via SM
