I'll probably get thumbed down and what not, but... I actually have to say the quality of the materials looks quite promising from those pics. The leather is DEFINITELY thick and the small fuzzes on the cutting edges give an impression of REAL materials used here. I find it funny how most people don't realize that 99% of all shoes are made of synthetic leather, so the "plastic" argument is silly. Nevertheless there are MASSIVE differences in quality and I stick to my point: These look good. Peace

Damn I can't wait to get my hands on these, don't look bad material wise. Im waiting to line these up to my playoff 13's (deadstock) and snap a pic then wrock the mess out of both.
I'm passing on these and gonna get the cool grey 12s instead. these are gonna be so hard to get and I'm happy with my cherry still. these are a classic though no doubt! good luck to those who are trying to cop these. any word on the taxis?
Favorite 12s ever... last pair of 12s i need in da collection. Wouldn mind a pair of white & french blu pair either tho
Hates these (12's) in general when they dropped in 1996-97, but as time has gone by I appreciate the shoe design so much more and can't wait to cop a pair ! I don't mind the red jump mad at the front, brightens the shoes up a little .

Mate, I don't buy on hype. After the 11's, anything that followed was going pale in comparrison ! It just took me a long time to appreciate the design of the 12's, the simplicity of the design has stood the test of time and has given this shoe iconic status.
even though i like these its a choice between these and the Obsidians for many of us IMO imma have to say pass and cop the Obsidians cant wait been waiting for years and their just soo much more beautiful

I'm 29 live on my own an have a family although I will cop both 12s an most of the releases this year i wish i had your attitude i wanna stop buyin kicks so bad but due to not being able to get them as a child i buy them all now but sometimes i look at the cash i spend an think what if i saved that money but as long as income is rolling in as it is i guess im good but if the income stop ebay will be my best friend
I agree but there are older folks who are able to get them both, thank god cuz I want them, kobe big bang and the cement 4's. I dont mind all the newer sneakerheads but it just sucks you all make it harder and more expensive to get kicks these days. That said have respect for your elders. sorry buddy but umm i got children to feed bills to pay...? shoes are not that important to me as they once where not really wanting to spend about almost 400 in a month on shoes...i mean im sorry that im not as this guy says a "wannabe 15 20 year old sneakerhead" which you probably are...and living with your parents no bills or nothing must be nice...anyways keep your self in place little man...
