Just when you thought you saw it all – the PEs, the one-of-ones, the Team Exclusives that we’ve featured on Sneaker News time and time again – this majestic sample pops up at the height of Air Jordan XI superstardom. We’ll give you a second to wipe the drool off your chin. This Air Jordan XI ‘Blackout’ sample features a full-black exterior, with black patent leather, a black mesh upper, black leather heel, and more interesting, the black midsole – something we’ve never seen on an Air Jordan XI until the women’s IE Low release of 2007. This blackout sample is definitely more ‘Batmobile’ than it is ‘Lawnmower’, exuding a sneaker sex appeal that’ll have the sneakerhead circles buzzing and uplifting excitement once again, acting as ‘yang’ to the Silver Anniversary’s ‘yin’. Will these release? Based on the shoetag, it appears that these were destined for a Holiday 2010 release (possibly a Black Friday release), but for now, there doesn’t seem to be any plans for arrival. You can, however place your bid on these samples, but we’ll give you a heads up that this particular bidding experience will be slugfest. WOW. Nearly $8000 for these. People actually bidding that amount of REAL money? Crazy. As in... your a moron for paying that for a pair of shoes. 1. People just gonna see you and go "thats the guy that paid an idiotic amount of money for some shoes"...(probably some rapper/DJ or "sneakerhead" that REALLY needs to show their 'swag' to try and make friends/contacts)... and 2. You KNOW Jordan Brand are just gonna see the hype(not that they probably dont all ready know that they can release ANY XI and kids will go ape shit for em), and just bring out a release of these... in which case we will ALL have them. For $170 retail.

I can see both sides of this argument....pics don't really do it justice but that murdered out is always fresh to me...me personally I been wearing all black everything so this falls in line with what I like...but the jumpman looks like something you would see on some flea market fakes. But if its a sample then its not gonna be the best construction anyway...its a good idea that would probably be better executed if JB really wanted to release these.
Yeah these would be a great summer release, might even rock these in the club if they drop. Just sick
Might I remind you all that these are a sample, and that the owner of these most likely got them for free! The quality on these are low as well because they are a sample. Now with all this said. I would love JB to release these, probably the best Non-OG CW. I'm sure they're only gonna get better from the SAMPLE! Hell look at the Galaxy Foams! Who knew right?
these are very nice and if they make a new color way of the 11s like they have been doing with other models these should be it!
This is I've pair of 11s that I WILL NOT OWN. not really feelin em. Imo they need that white midsole. Hell even a grey midsole may not look bad

Y would anyone pay over a thousand dollars on this shoe!!?!?! people are fucking ridiculous! First of all I can't believe people are saying these are amazing quality. The leather on the heel is the same leather they used on the Black/cement III's and everyone was complaining about the quality on those. You can tell the leather is cheap by seeing how glossy it is in the fifth picture down. If y'all think that this is quality leather, obviously you don't know what real leather feels and looks like. Secondly, how do you know if these are even authentic?? Even the seller wrote in his description that he has never seen them before. And don't say that these are real because of the sample tag. Im pretty sure its not that hard to imitate a simple tag!! And if these are authentic, then most likely these are going to release, so y da hell would you buy this for thousands of dollars wen you can just wait and buy it for $180?! People are RIDICULOUS!
The most reliable way to tell if an XI is real or fake is by the carbon fiber. I've seen the pics and the carbon fiber is real on these. A thousand dollars is a lot of money, but to some people it is well worth it. I don't spend my money on drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, or stripclubs. I go to college full time and work really hard, so I collect Jordans as my way of rewarding myself.
if they release, hoping they do, please be next year! There's way too much this year for my wallet already!

These are just the black version of the anniversary 11's. These r good quality yall say but yall dogged the white anniversaries. Same tumbled leather.and inner sock liner. But this shoe kicks ass
