Nike Air Max Griffey Fury ‘Freshwater’ – Arriving @ Retailers
February 10th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 7 comments

No matter how far removed a sneaker like the Nike Air Max Griffey Fury may be removed from the original string of Junior models, it still deserves to don the ‘freshwater’ colorway. We’d say it does a pretty good job of it at that, showing up with some minor tweaks from the sample version we previewed last year. In general the retail version lines up more with previous freshwater releases in the Griffey catalog, with the side Swoosh coming in white and a bit of red detailing outlining the 24 hit on the top end. This particular Nike Air Max Griffey Fury should show up at Nikestore later this month, but some spots like Millennium Shoes already have their pairs on deck. Check out the shots after the jump and let us know if you approve of the final tweaks made to these before they hit the shelves.

I seen these in person today on someones feet and they are amazing a must have for me
Apparently whoever designed these spent a lot of time on eBay looking at fake shoes. Why does Nike have to pull this bull? Bring out the OGs. At least with Penny's line they came out with the Zoom Rookie LWP which was awesome by itself and then the Go LWPs and Flight Ones as well. I'm dying for some black Flight Ones, the OG Griffey Diamond Fury's and the Griffey 3's with the cross strap.
The air unit makes it look like one of those air Jordan yeezy force 1 hybrid fakes that pop up on Facebook
Dey Cool but dat 360 sole is Some Shit.. Not Grabbin
I think Nike looks at those fake shoes online and say lets make those real
If they would have brought a complete OG version of it then it would be a no-brainer for me, but that 360 air max sole just doesn't sit right with me. May throw it some consideration later in the year
Could not have said it better myself! Would prefer the real version, may take these on sale or with a discount, too much other stuff comes first.
