New Balance has been increasingly generous with their classic lineup in recent months and it looks like we can expect that trend to continue courtesy of a few new ‘Made in USA’ drops slated for later this year. The New Balance 996 will return after having been resurrected by UNDFTD and Stussy last fall, and will be joined at retailers in late 2012 by 998s and 1300s also crafted at NB’s New England factories. Each of these pairs features a traditional mix of suede and mesh in muted tones for the kind of timeless appeal that draws sneakerheads toward their heritage catalog.
