Supra sent out its spring season Vaider Low colorways last week, and though we saw a Martin Luther King-themed release in January, the original midtop silhouette has been all but absent. Perhaps that’s because it’s being reserved for special themed colorways like this new Supra Vaider ‘All-Star’, a first for this skateboarding brand in their half-decade shaking up the game. The way red, white and blue are blocked on this pair scream old school uniforms right down to the vulcanized sole, while basketball graphics on the tongue tag and insoles remind you this isn’t another July 4th-themed drop. They might not be as elaborate as Nike Basketball’s 2012 NBA All-Star efforts, but it is intriguing to imagine more releases like these commemorating high points in the sporting calendar; will you vote them into your starting lineup with a purchase from Supra?
