Sneakerheads are chomping at the bit for next week’s release of the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’, and with Sneaker News showing you detailed images as well as ‘on-feet’ angles, the wait is becoming unbearable! The perfect alignment of events occurred to make the Galaxy Foamposites a reality; with the All-Star Game being in Orlando, Nike Basketball created the supernova/space travel theme (the Kennedy Space Center is just an hour away from Orlando), so attaching it to the shoe made famous by one of Orlando’s greatest players in franchise history seemed to be the perfect fit. Real talk for a minute, I have been collecting shoes since 1984, before most of you were born and while I am not trying to come off as an elitist, but I remember when collecting meant collecting not flipping. Where is the pride? I remember living in NYC during the early 1990s and when you went out on a Saturday night, you busted out a pair of Jordans/Nikes which would be similar to these today, not buying them to profit off of the hype that you helped create. It is just a vicious cycle and I cannot wait until you are over sneakers. This does not apply to everyone, but homeboy selling these on eBay is straight garbage and I wish that someone would create a fake eBay account to buy these and then never pay that kid.
